Transition from hospital with staff and hospice at Sunrise was not what was expected. Lack of staff for weekend and holiday. When emergency button pushed sometimes no response or over 30 minute response. Medications not administered as needed. Needs of patient could not be met in a timely manner. 24 hour care essential to make sure patient needs were attended to.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, and you have activities, except for Saturday and Sunday. They have transportation within a ten mile radius and no charge. They also do outings, such as trips to grocery stores and restaurants. The move in was easy. The meals are good, but should be more healthy and not seafood so much due to allergies. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Everybody was extremely nice and helpful in getting me in touch with the right resources to move my loved one into the place. I thought it was a good facility and I can not think of any improvements that need to be made.

An Independent Living Community provides residents the opportunity to live an active lifestyle while guaranteeing their care requirements have been fulfilled. Frequent needs such as the scheduling of social activities and meal planning are accounted for, which provides residents more free time to live life as they see fit. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds.
