This is a lovely community. The only issue was my loved one needed a lot of care, which I wasn’t aware of until we got here. As a result I had to relocate him to a 24-hour care facility. This is a great place for seniors that can still live independently.

I live in New York. My brother was a resident in Colorado and his son who lives in Georgia and I thought it would be good to have him relocate to Georgia. I spoke to [name removed] who was quite nice and informative. I liked the incentives and pictures. She was so helpful. I was so impressed and so was my nephew and brother that we felt this was a good choice and we didn't need to look any further.

I took a tour of Holiday Regency House during my search for an Independent Living facility. I really liked this facility! The cleanliness and friendliness were great. However, this facility was a bit out of my price range.

July 11, 2023Thank you for sharing your positive experience! Please don't hesitate to reach back out for any more information!
[name removed], the manager is super involved, energetic, and available to residents. That's great. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Holiday the Regency House community to other families. When we toured Regency House - the experience was great. They asked if we were hungry when we got there and served us lunch. We were famished! Then we toured with [name removed]. Left the facility fed and feeling very welcomed. It was obvious this wasn't as posh as the other facility, but there was more warmth and welcoming vibes. We left and knew it was the place for mom, even though it was only the second place we went to.

Response from Holiday Regency House
July 11, 2023We're grateful to have you and your family part of the Holiday by Atria family. We appreciate your kind compliments and will be sure share with our team.
My loved one was a resident here and it was great for Independent Living! Fun atmosphere, lots of activities, affordable, OT/PT offered on site. The Meals and Dining are great, also. It's restaurant style and they have a chef. My loved one had to move to Assisted Living/a different facility, but we loved it here and miss it!
Very accommodating with room availability and scheduling move in. We picked this community, because we were looking for more of an independent community.

As for the cleanliness, roaches are a definite gross factor. As for the value for cost, it doesn't matter how inexpensive a place is if they can't control vermin. We've moved our loved one to a different facility.

Our family had an in person tour and we loved this community but because of my age and not being either 55 or 62 (cant remember the number exact) I was not able to move in. However we thought it was amazing, they have a chef on sight to which I know is important to some people. It was a wonderful experience.
Our family had an in person tour and the tour was nice, but The Regency House had the same layout and amenities as another community we were looking into but The Regency House was asking for a much higher rate. That is why we chose not to move our loved one here.
The Regency House was an outstanding place for my mom. The apartments and the grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The staff is caring and responsive. My mom loved the outdoor walking trail. She said the food was excellent. Very helpful to have meals and cleaning taken care of-and all billing done automatically so my mom didn't have to keep up with the finances. I had toiletries and pet food delivered to her door. All very manageable.
We chose The Regency House because it was nicer than the others that we saw especially for the price. The apartment sizes are very nice and spacious, some have patios and balconies but she has a sun room in her apartment. The grounds are very well maintained and [name removed], he manager has been awesome. If I ever need any help she is quick to respond. I have stayed at the facility twice, they have a room set aside for family members that you can reserve. They are always inviting us to eat meals with her, it is a family oriented place. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

A Place for Mom has scored Holiday Regency House 9.4 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
