It's been great for my mom. I was very impressed. The apartment is very nice. I can't tell u how friendly and helpful everyone has been. My mom is doing very well. She is participating in the activities. Eric has been very helpful with my mom. He's been very good. The only downside is the kitchen area. The cabinets are way too high. My mom would have to get on a step stool to use them. The microwave is high as well. Everything else has been great.
I rate them a five on everything except friendliness. On that they get a ten!!!!! My loved one's circumstances were such she was there a little more than two months. It was an interim stop between acute care and home. They knew that. She was sort of a grump, but everyone treated her well--staff and residents. I am grateful to The Broadmoor for my loved one's positive experience.
They really are dog-friendly and have a very nice garden that dogs can run around in. The total dog count at the moment is 7, all of them small. The main problem is that the place has recently changed ownership and the new administration hasn't completely settled in yet. But they are very friendly and I think they are doing as well as they can.
