DON'T PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!!! Why? Simply because we had our precious dad, who was suffering from dementia placed here. We were referred by a friend. To the point: We transferred him from Stockbridge, which was a lovely place, but because of his finances, we couldn't keep up with the monthly payments and this place was much cheaper. We were welcomed with open arms when we arrived and a very nice staff. As his dementia declined, all of the aids would keep us posted on his health, except for this Indian aid. We noticed that when she would be on shift, she would talk to the patience with a smart mouth, mean and nasty, and rush them around. Our father frowned when she came around. Ok, a few weeks ago, the owner told my husband that he needed to find another place for our father real soon, because his health declined and gave some made-up excuse. We were like "Oh goodness, had we known that he had to move again, because he couldn't get around anymore, we would not have taken him to this TERRIBLE PLACE." IT GETS WORSE!!! PLEASE READ THIS PART, IT'S IMPORTANT. My husband went up their to visit dad in mid-week (we normally visit on weekends) My husband called me furious, sharing that dad had bruises on his face. He sent me a picture of our dad laying in the bed with TWO black eyes, and a bruised nose. Without exaggeration, his face was black and blue. No one called us, nor could my dad talk to tell us, what happened. The aids didn't call that time, it appeared that they were prompted not to say anything. "That's so not fair!" He is a child of God, from the MOST HIGH, and was defenseless! Who would do this to an elderly person? We don't know if someone punched him, or he had fallen out of the bed because NO ONE CONTACTED US. My husband asked the owner, and she acted as if she did not know what had happened. Once she realized that someone informed my husband about the night it happened and when it was reported, she got quiet. She tried to blame it on Hospice, but they had not been at the place, until my husband had arrived. He had been in that situation for 2 days, without notice to us. We took our dad for ex-rays to make sure that his nose was not broken. I'm sure we could have had a law suit against them, but my husband said, let it go, she'll get hers. We then moved him to this lovely place in Dunwoody, GA, called Summers Landing Tilly Hill. It's a great place, and the owner is a lovely person. She made sure that our dad was comfortable and knew that he was declining slowly. Sadly, we lost our dad on Tuesday, [date removed]. We will miss him, but wanted you to know, that this is NOT the place to take your loved ones, especially with that mean and nasty Indian lady working there, and that lying owner. We are warning you, so don't get fooled by the soft talk. NO PLACE FOR THE ELDERLY, ESPECIALLY WITH DEMENTIA. Very disappointed!

I had a nice tour of this community. Everything went well for the most part. From what I saw the community looked nice but it wasn't the right fit for my Aunt.

This was a really nice place. It had the feel of a hotel. The room they showed us was large and located off the television room. There is a large backyard. The residents seemed happy to be living there. The community was clean. The community seemed to be more for assisted living residents. We liked it, however we were looking for a private room and they did not have this available when we looked at the community.

The administration team was excellent, they always where available via phone or via email and gave my loved one and I detailed tour of the beautiful community. They where very professional and have often followed up with me to make sure my mother is doing well.

This facility is unique. Mid 2015 it was purchased by a new owner, who is also the Director and she has improved the Home dramatically, with fresh paint, new carpet and hardwoods. It is a smaller facility that has a very residential feel. The rooms are big, the staff are friendly, caring and attentive to the residents needs...and the price is more affordable than the more corporate facilities. I was happy to have my Father living in and being cared for at this facility.

We are very happy with it. It's the right price and size, and she is getting personalized care. I don't have any complaints at this time, nothing I can think of that should be improved or done differently.

I took a full tour and loved the location. Small and well kept. Clean and inviting. I really loved the facility and the rooms that they provide for care. I met with the Director, and she was not only understanding, but patient in a situation that causes a lot of grief and turmoil. THANK YOU!
