Heartis Buckhead

I deposited [fee removed] toward an upcoming stay at your facility which I immediately called asking you not to cancel since I was not using your facility since I could not afford. It has been almost a month with no result, numerous calls and texts.

My name is [name removed] when I found out about this place this place is such a great place to live from the Front Desk staff. It is great from the sales. It is great everybody at this place together as a team and I love it a great, great great spirit And you be glad that you choose his place idea. Food is great today. I had a baked salmon and is really really good cheese and macaroni. It is extra cheesy the way I love it the potatoes. It is great the food I had yesterday it was delivered, and The poke shop was really good. I’m telling you you all when you choose this place the whole staff and everybody is the best I’ve been through other places that’s like this. They don’t talk the best customer service that I see right now and that’s my apartment. very very great view all day every day when you spend Top dollar you gonna get top dollar greatness and I must say that I mean that all the way get your love here and I promise you it’s what I’m saying to you experience The very same thing and

I've lived in Heartis for 2 years and enjoyed every minute of it. The building is beautiful with all modern amenities and the food is delicious and nutritious. The residents have fun together and everyone who works here cares for us like family. Everything we need to stay healthy is at our fingertips and the area is safe, clean and there's lots of entertainment!

The location of Heartis Buckhead is the primary reason I moved into the building. The accessibility is equally important. I love my ADA apartment and the meals here are delicious. I have made some good friends and am extremely happy to live here. Additionally, the staff is professional and very helpful as well as personable.

Heartis Buckhead has been our home for almost a year. It has been just what these two 85+ elders need. In fact, if whatever we need is not within walking distance, the Heartis bus will take us to it. Heartis offers a program for people who are used to having opportunities around them. They arranged and paid for me to take a class with [name removed], and then Heartis provided the transportation. There is a library here and a book club. Some of us old guys meet on Tuesday mornings to discuss politics. And a history professor meets with a passel of us to review events twice a month. My wife and I eat with friends every night; on Thursdays, it’s by the pool. If you walk on the Atlanta Beltline down the hill from Heartis, you’ve probably seen me: I’m the old guy with a cane who speaks to everyone!

Recently my mom moved into independent living at Heartis, and though there are a lot of nice things to say about it (the food is good and the staff are friendly), there are some serious management failures than cannot be overlo - Heartis is a non-smoking facility, but for months has allowed a smoker to smoke on the twelfth floor. This compromises the health and safety of Heartis residents. - Staff turnover. The management is unable to retain staff, and this is impacting on the quality of life of the residents. - The management is not trust worthy and takes advantage of their elderly residents. Last week my mother put a $[removed] deposit on an apartment in the building that would have allowed her to move to a floor where there are not currently any smokers. When she called yesterday to accept the new place, they told her that the person who had made the offer (in writing btw) had quit and it was no longer valid. They gave her a new price with a $[removed] increase.

We went Heartis for my father in law and it looked very empty. The Sales Director was okay. We felt rushed. Apartments are nice but very small. Not the community for us. Waited for front desk to show up to help with parking. Parking was very confusing.

My mother has been at facility since they opened in July 2022. This place has gone down hill since then. There has been massive turnover including the Executive Director. The food is inedible and the service is horrible. My mom waits almost 2 hours for her food at times. Heartis used to have amazing activities and because of the turnover the activities are slim to none. Her neighbors lose sleep and complain about the noise from the night club. We cannot wait to move our mother from this place. Save your money and stay away. There are plenty of nice facilities in Buckhead.

The AL staff is fantastic. I like that it doesn't 'feel' like an assisted living facility, like most do. I toured many that were set up like dorm rooms! I honestly am not thrilled with the food. They have changed over a few times since my dad has been there and it has really gone downhill.

I would give a 5 for all categories listed...Heartis has been a very positive experience so far!! Staff is friendly, setting is clean and comfortable, and food is plentiful and delicious. The only area of improvement I would note is timely follow up with questions and communication. I realize they have new staff and it takes time for processes to take shape. Overall I'm very pleased with our selection of Heartis as a new home for our parent's.

Heartis Buckhead is wonderful community. They have an outstanding vibrant life program to help keep your loved one engaged and active in the community. They also have an all day dining program to allow for your preferred dining time. It is conveniently located in the heart of the city which allows for easy access to main attractions like the Fox Theatre and Atlanta Symphony. This stunning community is uniquely designed as a high rise that captures the beautiful Atlanta skyline.

We were moving my aunt from San Francisco to Atlanta, because there was no family left in California and we needed a place that would work with our ex -hippie, world traveler, politically active auntie! We decided to start previewing places before she got there and we were lucky enough to work with Brittany! Not only is she beautiful inside and out but she helped us navigate this difficult process. Based on her advice about availability of certain units, we ended up having our aunt put a deposit down on a unit sight unseen because we loved the location in the building. And when she got there, she was thrilled. Unfortunately, my aunt has passed on, but she loved her time at Heartis. The wonderful staff; fun, eclectic residents; all the activities and of course, the gorgeous building and her beautiful apartment with a view of the Buckhead skyline! We can't recommend them enough!

My mother has been living in assisted living at Heartis Buckhead since July 2022 shortly after they opened. This community is everything we’d hoped for. The food is great. The staff have become apart of our family. We love it. Best decision our family has made in a while.

We visited Heartis while my grandfather was in town considering a move to Atlanta. [name removed]is the definition of hospitality & kindness. My grandfather is still yet to make a decision, but if he moves Heartis will be his new home!

The moment I walked through the front door I felt the warmth that Heartis Buckhead has to offer. The staff and residents were so friendly and made me feel that my grandmother would feel at home if she moved in. Everyone looked so happy and a couple of residents stopped me during the tour to encourage me to move my loved one in. This is a difficult time in my life and I felt relieved that I found a place that would be a good fit for my grandmother. I plan to bring my grandmother to visit when she comes to town over the holidays.

We picked this community because of the location. It's been an excellent experience. I would recommend to other families, and have already done so.
