Brandywine at Senior Suites in East Norriton, PA
5.0

First, you need to see this facility. They did a major renovation and it looks so different. It has been modernized and looks amazing. My Mom has been at Brandywine for a few years. It is a tough decision to make when your loved one needs more care than what you can give. The apartments are roomy. The food is wonderful. There are so many activities that one will never get bored. My Mom is now on the Reflections-Memory Care Unit. The care and support that she receives is amazing. She is well cared for. The staff is so genuine and supportive to my Mom and family. Administration takes the time to talk with you and answer your questions. It is like an extended family. I am so happy with making the decision to move my Mom to Brandywine.

Nursing Homes

A nursing home is a complex that provides housing to two or more individuals who have no family ties to the administrator. This type of complex provides its residents with care by registered nurses. These caregivers provide healthcare services for people who are unable to take care of their own needs because of their aging.

This type of facility is a convenient and easy living option for individuals 65 years and above, however nursing homes will frequently allow access to persons 55 and older infrequentlyheard of in senior care regarding different care types.Nursing homes are required to provide emergency dental services, nursing and related services, specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability), and medically-related social services to residents. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to be free from restraints, participate in activities, be free from abuse and neglect, and form or participate in resident groups. Many residents of nursing homes might have behavioral problems. These can consist of resisting assistance, verbal outbursts, or a tendency to wander. Often times persons may prefer life in a nursing home over another type of facility due to a physical or mental disability that prevents them from easily accomplishing their lifestyle goals.
