I originally chose A Place Fir Mom because they had the size room that I was looking for at a reasonable price. However, since my husband became a resident there, I found that the care is excellent. The staff is caring and treats all the residence with respect and empathy for their situation . Bluebell Place is clean has a variety of actives to keep the residents entertained. I give it my highest recommendation.

We were very fortunate at a time of need for your help in finding us bluebell place. Bluebell place was a home for both my father and my mother, the assistant living and the memory care unit. We can only say great things about bluebell place as well as their staff that it was the best experience we could've ever imagined. How they care for each individual patient is amazing and well beyond our wildest dreams of how our parents could be taken care of. The community is caring and involved with each patient. They seem to offer activities for everyone to join [name removed] to their needs. They're very friendly approachable and it is visible that they care for the people in their community. They take the time to see what each person needs and try to accommodate that to the best of their ability. We were fortunate to have both our parents residing at Blue Bell Place at the same time. We would highly recommend the community, whose friendly and attentive staff truly cared for our parents like family.

Honestly I would rate them a 5 on everything. The staff was wonderful and attentive. My father thought the meals were delicious. It was like a restaurant. He had a really nice room. Sure it seemed too expensive to me, but it was totally competitive with all the other places. You never got the impression that they were too busy or didn't care about my dad. Although he didn't participate in the activities much, they had a lot of options and fun sounding things to do. Then when he had to go into hospice, they coordinated and worked with the agency so everything was seamless and he could just stay there until he passed. So I would highly recommend Blue Bell

Staff is friendly and attentive. Housekeeping services could be better. Trash is collected and apartments are cleaned once a week. Trash cans can fill up during this time. Food Menu for the day is published for residents. Meal choices are limited when compared to more extravagant (and more expensive) assisted living facilities, but there are always choices available, such as sandwiches, hamburgers, etc. if requested by the resident. Communication with family is excellent. Overall, I think Blue Bell Place is an excellent choice for people on a budget in need of an assisted-living facility. Also, management and many staff have worked there for many years. This is a great plus for this facility as many other facilities suffer from high turnover of employees and managers. I definitely recommend this facility.

It is a really great place! My parents are very pleased! I would recommend this place! The staff are amazing! Very knoweldgeable and up to date on issues reguarding health care. [name removed] the Nursing Director is very helpful, and helped me get my parents insurance back when there was a lapse due to mail delivery! She is Incredible person and does wonderful work! She should get a raise!!!

Blue Bell Place has a great caring staff, great food and lots of activities. They did a great job. Sure it's expensive, but certainly competitive. I really can't say enough nice things about the place. My father passed away after a few months, but they were great even helping with hospice when it came to that during the last week of his life. My dad loved the staff there and always raved about the food.

The leadership team at Blue Bell Place is responsive to family and resident concerns. Issues brought to a leader's attention are resolved in expeditious fashion. Several of the staff that I've met have been there for over 7-10 years. The staff answer calls for assistance in a reasonable time without excessive delays. The meals are at set time windows. The meals are good, but there are less entrée choices than at more expensive, "luxury" Assisted Living facilities. The cost of care is very reasonable and about 30-40% less than many of the other facilities that we considered. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We chose Blue Bell Place for: 1} location, 2} affordability, 3} Friendliness, the size of the room. Our loved one had memory issues and had some difficulty adjusting to living in a community after years of independence, but the staff were patient and supportive.

We toured Blue Bell Place and the facility was very nice. The tour was great. The cleanliness and friendliness seemed great, as well. However, we were hoping to find a facility that was completely all inclusive.

I loved Blue Bell Place. They have 24-hour nursing. They have actual menus residents can choose from. And if a resident has a meal in their room, they actually get served their meal on china. During my tour, I met the administrator, Director of Nursing, the chef, and the head of dietary, and everyone was friendly and nice. The facility was also very clean.

October 4, 2022Thank you for taking the time to write an online review. We pride ourselves on a warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere and that comes easily because our team truly loves what they do. Our sense of community comes from knowing our residents, their likes and dislikes and providing a fun-filled lifestyle with lots of events, programs, and choices. Our building is definitely not new but we keep it as clean as a whistle and filled with vibrant programs and happy residents. Thanks again for visiting and we hope to see you again soon.
It's a good environment and the staff is caring. There's a lot of changes and they are short-staffed sometimes, which causes problems. The quality of the food is problematic, they need a chef. Sometimes the meals, particularly on the weekends, are disappointing. The weekends have been a problem, just generally speaking. They do well with communication. I was surprised that when I wanted to know about putting the monthly payment on a credit card, I was told no. That seemed to be a simple thing to do, at least to me. It'd make things a bit easier by having it as an option in case I want to use a credit card, so it was surprising to hear. I would overall recommended Blue Bell Place to others.

They did not clean my loved ones room, laundry was just sitting for days, and they did not take the trash out. It was a very terrible experience. I paid a lot of money, and things were not getting done.
