I really enjoy being here. I wish we had a pool though. We has one growing up. But we don't have on here. I like the meals because I don't have to cook. The staff are amazing everyone is kind. The care staff are not appreciated enough. I was a nurse for many years. I know how hard it can be. I would give my overall experience rating a 5 if we had a pool.

This place is nicely run. It is a convenient location. Pleasant surroundings inside and out. Staff well trained. One of the cleanest place I have seen. Food is very well done. Requests are acknowledged and client are taken care of. They take the time to listen to concerns. Even when you ask for something they can or can't do. They take the time to explain why they can't do what you asked. The staff find ways to make you happy.

My dad fell down a flight of stairs. After a stay in the hospital and a month in Rehab, we knew my parents had to quickly move out of their home and in to Assisted Living. My mom was in shock and was unable to help with the search for a new home. Thankfully, A Place For Mom recommended taking a tour of Morningside House. The facility is beautifully decorated and offers many activities. Immediately, we knew my parents would be well cared for there. Sadly, 3 days after moving in, my dad passed away. I can’t say enough about the staff-from admin office and nursing staff to the front desk. We didn’t even get a chance to know each other and yet, they treated our family like we were now part of their family. So many people were instrumental in going above and beyond to help us. The staff’s kindness and understanding of my dad’s passing and my mom’s transition from selling her home and loosing my dad was priceless. Thank you Morningside House of Towamencin!!

We had to find an assisted living facility for our mother recently without much notice to look around. Morningside House was the first community I visited and became the standard others were judged against. My immediate impression of Morningside House was that it was well kept and looked practically brand new. The first floor greets residents and guests with an open atmosphere with a staircase leading to the second floor, and vaulted ceiling in the dining room. Part of the second floor can be seen from the first-floor reception area. The facility is warm and inviting and doesn't feel clinical at all! The staff is friendly and displays a sincere desire to make residents feel safe and cared for. I never feel guilty when leaving my mother after a visit because she's happy at Morningside House.

Morningside is a good place to be at. There was a [fee amount] prescription monthly fee that I didn't know about. But overall, it's a good place. My mom got a bigger studio, which is big enough. When looking at the one bedroom apartment it did seem big enough. They're always seems to be a lot of fun things going on which is good.

My parents are 92 & 94 in independent living. They have had great care with everything whether it’s cleaning, medical, or just checking on them. The activities are fun for the residents who participate and the food is delicious. When I call from CA they have been extremely helpful. I wish more seniors were interested but with the costs high, it is difficult for most.

Our mom has lived at Morningside House of Towamencin for the past two years. The people who work there are caring and provide excellent care for my mom who is mostly independent but suffers from memory lapses. She is able to go to meals when she wants and has a small kitchen to make breakfast and snacks at night. The medication service is excellent and mom never misses a pill thanks to the terrific attendants who visit her with pills and lovely conversation. There are many activities to do at the facility but our mom is mostly excited to take walks outside the facility. She stays in shape and in the summer gets a nice tan from her walks and her time spent outside. We have nothing but nice things to say about the facility - it is bright and cheerful and clean. Residents can walk to events and are always greeted by workers in the hallways. There is a memory care facility on site as well. I highly recommend Morningside for a parent who needs extra help as they age.

The staff are very friendly. The facility is very clean. One daughter lives nearby, the other is in Florida, and we live in Virginia. Regardless of the distance, the staff are equally responsive to questions or concerns. The meals are good with great selection and input is sought from residents about future menu options. I would highly recommend this facility. By the way, they were purchased by Morningside about 6 months ago. Slight name change of the facility. The transition was seamless.

I am happy to say that I would give a 5 for every category. We are so far very pleased with mom's care at Morning Side House. Most of the staff seem to be very caring and attentive and on top of any issues mom is having. I would certainly recommend Morningside House to others.

Having had experience with competing facilities, I can say without a doubt – Morningside is the best in the area! Their staff’s level of care commitment is extraordinary and cannot be matched. From reception to administration to the amazingly talented care team members – I am truly impressed.

Very clear expectations of the care that would be provided to my mother. Every staff member shows significant empathy for the residents and respects them and provides excellent support. Can always count on the staff and management for support for family as well as residents. Very knowledgeable and appropriately trained staff.

After looking at seven other senior residences in NE PA, we chose to move to the Morningside House of Towamencin hoping that the staff here could meet our needs. We have now been in residence for two weeks and couldn't be more delighted. The staff members are competent and compassionate and have met all of our needs. There's a variety of activities every day with musical performances, sporting event parties and something for every interest. My wife and I are enjoying the friendly staff and residence neighbors here and are glad we made the move.

My 80-year-old mom was hesitant to move out of her single-family home, but her living out of state and alone far from family was concerning for us. She feared losing her independence and moving back to PA but we convinced her to give Morningside House a try for a few months. Fast forward six weeks, and she has settled in, made new friends, and keeps asking us when she can sell the old house! She is so much healthier now that she doing things, exercising, and having meals with friends! She has even become a sports fan - joining the group that watches games in the cafe! The staff and environment provide exactly the right amount of support so that she feels more independent than she did alone at home. The staff made her transition into the community so smooth! I had not imagined it was even possible for it to go so well. The staff clearly know what they are doing and really care about the residents. The staff are always responsive to questions and concerns and are friendly!

toured this place twice, once by myself and once with my mother. I absolutely loved it.The building is beautiful, clean, friendly staff. [name removed] went above and beyond to find the perfect room for both of my parents within their budget. But at the end of the day my mother decided on [removed] only because it is closer to family. The only reason I didn't give it a five-star is because they didn't move in so I can't speak to the full experience. [name removed] from A Place for Mom is wonderful. She walked me through everything kept in constant contact with me, explained things, and really helped to search for the proper place for my parents.

The staff at the Landings was extremely helpful and compassionate with our family situation and worked diligently to help us place our mother as quickly as possible. They were amazing to work with. From the very moment I met them I knew that this was the place for my mom. I'm so appreciative of everything they've done for her and our family.

My mother-in-law is a resident at this facility. Upon moving in, the staff involved kept saying to my her "This is your home. What can we do to assist you?" So sweet! There are fireplaces burning in the common areas. Its very clean, people are happy. The food is wonderful. They have lots of great activities. My mother-in-law recently said "I left my room at 9:00 am and didn't get back to my apartment until 6:00 pm and I didn't even leave the building!" She is having a wonderful time and has even started using an exercise machine a few times a week.
