My dad was previously a resident at Brookdale Dublin and the experience was great. They were very helpful and attentive to my dad as well as my family. Based on our experience, I would recommend this facility to others.

I picked this community, because of APFM ratings and recommendation, plus location and bed availability.

We picked this community, because it was a small more intimate setting with only 26 residents. It was mid-way between siblings, they allow dogs to visit and would accept a small dog for an extra monthly charge although we have not taken advantage of that, we were impressed by the facility, and staff on visiting.

It was not the experience we were expecting for our loved one, it was really bad and they could not handle our loved ones care. They refused to take our loved one back and we quickly had to think of an alternative thing to do.

Response from Brookdale Dublin
May 12, 2023We are sorry to hear we did not meet your expectations and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. The safety and well-being of our residents is our top priority and we have shared your concerns with our management team for review.
Moving a loved one to a care facility is always difficult and finding the right place can be a challenge. From the moment we entered Brookdale Dublin, we found it to be warm and welcoming and we knew our loved one would receive exceptional care. [name removed] went above and beyond to get our aunt admitted and the entire staff was amazing from day one. We truly believed she was getting the best possible care and felt everyone at the facility treated her, as well as all the other patients, with dignity and respect.

I would rate Brookdale higher than a 5 if I could, they are amazing. When you walk into the facility it is very clean and there is no odor. The staff took very good care of my husband and are very consciousness. They all interchange - if they are short handed everyone pitches in to help out. They always have things going on such as arts and crafts, music, painting, and also special things like watching footballs games or movies. the food is excellent. The meals are very balanced and nutritious. When there is a covid outbreak they are very good at being proactive and keeping the residents safe. It is a small community and they only have 12 residents. I always thought the bigger the better, but that is not the case. The nursing care has been excellent and everyone truly cares. I would absolutely recommend Brookdale Dublin to other families looking. I feel very blessed to have been able to get him in here, it is a very well organized group.

Our experience with Brookdale Dublin was not bad. It is a smaller facility that focuses on memory care. They did a good job and worked with our loved one. The prices sky-rocketed though and we were nervous our loved one was going to run out of money which is why we could not stay,
We recently checked in my longtime employer and dear friend. It’s so comforting to know what great hands she’s in [names removed]and all the staff are soooo warm and friendly. In a time that’s been so difficult and sad it’s been so awesome to know she’s with loving, friendly people who truly care.

As a family to make the decision to put your mother in a managed care environment and remove her from her comfortable home of 50 years becomes one of the most gut wrenching decisions a family will ever have to make. We met with several administrators from other facilities but after meeting with [name removed] and her staff it became overwhelmingly apparent that this was the right place for mom. She has been at Brookdale for over 18 months and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Our mother receives an incredible amount of attention and love for which we are all so very grateful. We highly recommend this facility for your loved ones. Tony G. Doylestown,pa

My mother fought Dementia for 7 hard years. We were in 2 homes prior to our final stop at Brookdale Dublin. I loved the home feel of the facility. Having been at other facilities I can say that I felt my mothers care was the best of them all (as evident that I never hesitated to move her). As with all facilities you come to have your favorite team members; [name removed] will always have a place in our hearts. Even made it a point to be the one to call me upon my mothers passing. I am forever grateful it was him :). I highly recommend Brookdale Dublin for your loved one.

Being a relatively small and specialized facility means that all staff at. Brookdale Dublin have significant interaction with the residents. Social interaction time is not just limited to a prescribed activity like it is at some care residences. Whether one is a custodian, an aide, a med tech, a cook, or an administrator, ALL Brookdale staff informally interact in a loving and positive way with the residents. Prior to entering Brookdale Dublin, Mom had lived at another facility for a year. At the previous residence, Mom had lost weight, she became unable to walk, and she was nearly 100% nonverbal. After a few months at Brookdale, Mom began to talk and eat again. I attribute these changes as being almost entirely due to the staff’s commitment to engage Mom socially and to not give up on her even when she didn’t reciprocate. When Mom died this past year in hospice at Brookdale some staff gave up break time to be with her. I knew I had made the right choice by having her in their care.

Brookdale Dublin was the best place for our Mom. It is a hard decision to move your loved one out of their home and we had tried other facilities, but Brookdale was by far the best. The facilities are clean and inviting, a real home and not an institution. And I can’t say enough about the staff. They are the most kind and caring people; true angels during a difficult time. They always treated her with love and dignity. Mom loved them all and could not have been happier. It gave us great comfort to know that she was well cared for and always smiling during her last days.

Brookdale Dublin was fabulous. They sent me info on their community before I even arrived for the tour. When I got there, there was a sign on the door with my name on it, welcoming me. That personal touch really moved me. Their pricing is a little more expensive and not all-inclusive. But I just loved it there. It was just so homey.
[name removed], who is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, my wife, spent over 2 1/2 years in Brookdale Dublin. I would like to acknowledge their professionalism, dedication, and most of all care, kindness and friendliness to their residents. It takes a special kind of person to become caregivers and especially ones with empathy and sympathy to care for others the way I observed when I was there. Management was always available in quick to respond to any messages or calls. All in all a great environment for anyone to place a loved one. Highly recommended.

Would give them 10 stars, but only 5 was available. By far the most most competent best place for memory care. My mom, a difficult case, is doing great at Brookdale, where as no other memory care was able to manage her. The best management and the best staff - they provide high level of TLC and totally on top of things giving me a complete piece of mind. If you are in need of great memory care for your family member, I recommend Brookdale Dublin highly!

The staff here were extremely genuine and kind, very helpful and informative. It seemed everyone liked working there and residents had decent care. Unfortunately the place was in need of some immediate updating, and the price was not significantly under the cost of newer facilities that offered a much nicer environment. I did get the feeling that they really did care for the residents, so that counts for a lot. I was a little concerned about how they charge for individual services above and beyond the core "rent", so you could be paying over $1500 per month in addition depending on what help the resident requires. That just seems to open up a whole lot of uncertainty from month to month on what the costs will be. And even though all the facilities seem to have price increases each year, the one went up 8% last year alone.

As an RN myself, I was overjoyed with the superb care my mother received. The staffs kindness and compassion was outstanding not only towards my mother but our entire family. The smaller setting is an asset and having skilled staff educated in dementia care was clearly obvious unlike the previous facility my mother was in.

Mom moved in a month ago, and so far she is getting much more attention than at her last facility. Staff all seems to care more, also. The smaller size helps her not get lost in the shuffle. So far, all positive.
