A Beacon of Light during a new and scary time

I would say from the onset it was very easy. Their admissions coordinator scheduled a zoom tour with me since I live in another state. They were able to have my brother and mother go over Thanksgiving weekend for a tour. My paperwork and their coordination to her move in date was easy. Since then as my mother initially struggled to adjust and her memory issues became more apparent they utilized their expertise to keep the family informed. The facility and community is lovely and not overly large and so it feels personal and like a community.

Meadow Glen Is a Fantastic Place for Residents and Would Recommend To Anyone

We had a great experience with the community. My loved ones enjoyed the food served. There were three meals a day and there were choices for the residents to choose from. They allowed us to bring snacks and drinks for our loved ones. The staff was very friendly. The staff communication was very proactive and very responsive to our requests. They were good at making time available for family to visit our loved ones.

A Wonderful Place

We’ve had a very positive experience with Meadow Glen - no issues. I like the overall feeling - the staff makes you feel like you’re a part of the community. They're wonderful and easy to talk to. My parents love being in the Meadow Glen section and wish they had thought about doing it sooner!

Our family had an in person tour and everything that we saw on the tour was very nice, but we ended up not choosing it because they did not have the amenities and services we were looking for.

Peace of Mind

I would recommend you choose the community for your loved one. My loved one likes that it is an apartment and they can come and go as they please. The community just changed chefs for the food. My loved one doesn't care for the food as much as they use to. They are trying their best with the activities. The residents are going on short trips as one of the many activities available.

Highly Recommend and Great Overall

The ratings are based on a 10 day stay. From my experience I would recommend them highly. The staff was very friendly and nice. The community was well taken care of. The food was very good. I live 7 minutes away from this community, and if it would worked out this is where my loved ones would stay.

Peace of mind

I really like that they have the option for the continuum of care. It has been a blessing to our family to have a facility like this for her where she is safe, well cared for, and well fed. The care is excellent. Due to my mom being a high fall risk, they are doing 15 minute checks on her, which I appreciate so much. She has settled into the community well surprisingly. She is in her room very little now and participates in activities throughout the day. The level is care has been so critical to us rather than the cost.

Not Happy

I never had the opportunity to visit this home because I live out of state and my mom was only there 8 days. We had planned to make a trip up north, but after only 8 days in this nursing home, my mom had a stroke. My mom went to the hospital and then to rehab. Although she was very mobile when she went into Phoebe, she is now (less than 1 month later), stuck in a wheelchair with very limited skills. I have to wonder how this happened to her.
