Abode Care of Allentown

My mom’s stay at Abode care rehabilitation was very good. The caregivers my mom had during her stay was more than satisfactory. I was very happy with everything and the whole experience. Everyone is so nice and very good at her job at the rehab. There are many activities and entertainment for the residents and their family. May God Bless all at Abode Care that work so hard at making the residents have a better time at rehabilitation.

We chose that community because of the friendly staff, and the amenities all within his budget. I believe we are getting what he can afford. The challenges we have had he been mostly with his behavior and not the staff. Mostly.

They are a good agency to call for care and financial issues. They are very thorough and caring at Adobe Care.

The staff is fantastic and wonderful with folks in the facility. The price is what initially stuck out about Abode Care over other places. It's been a great experience.

Great place! The nurses and especially the aids at Abode care of Allentown have been giving my Mom outstanding care for many weeks now. Everyone is absolutely amazing, so kind, patient and dedicated. Love the atmosphere also, so welcoming!

We chose Abode Care of Allentown because of the cost and the location. It is a little tough working through prescription issues. I would recommend this facility to others. It is a good choice especially for the price point.

When Mom needed a place to go to, we looked at a few places. Abode Care was very welcoming, staff was ver nice and residents looked happy. The cost was also a factor in our choice. Since Mom has been there, she has looked well cared for, clean and happy. Her mental capacity won’t ever improve, but as she progresses, I feel confident Abode will be there to support her and us.

I love this community and the gals who runs the activities. They are smart, fun and always know when we need a snack! We are always glad to see them in the morning. They "give" a lot and we appreciate all they do!

Great staff, great care. They are nice and helpful. The place is aways clean and maintained, no compromise on hygiene. The atmosphere is very happy and healthy. We are very satisfied and would definitely recommend this place!

Everyone loved my mom and took good care of her. Safety was always a concern with the front door being unlocked.

I would like proactive updates since I live in New Jersey and told them I am not going to visit often Regarding activities I would encourage group TV for events like big sporting events, etc Size of the facility is not too big or small, adequate staff ...which is why I had to move him, affordable

It is an active community with friendly staff and residents. Mom is having a good time. Residents were more active here than other places, and appeared happy. We also liked the areas on each floor either chairs and a TV where residents could meet.

Im glad we found l such a nice place for my mom where the staff treats her like family.My two sisters chose it and I agreed I would recommend Abode to others. While the majority of the staff are great, there's been so much turnover that there seems to be a need for formal training. Transferring my imobile mother had been a challenge for new staff, causing unnecessary falls and scrapes for my mom. On the job training should be on be after formal instruction and practice gave occurred and proven acceptable.

The staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. They are a little under-staffed though. It is a great value for the money comparatively.

If we could give the overall experience, the cleanliness and the value for cost a 0 we would. Everything about this community needs improvement. EVERYTHING! From the top to the bottom, we even spoke with the owner. Please do not recommend Abode Care of Allentown to other families.

The staff at Abode are kind and friendly, not only to the residents, but to each other. They truly care about the residents & strive at making this a place that feels like home. I know that my loved one is in good hands there.

My sister is in Memory Lane. It is a small unit, where the staff are able to keep a close eye on her. They always know where she is at. She is kept clean and as nicely dressed as my sister will allow. My sister has behavior problems, that the staff handle competently. The meals are tasty. Snacks and beverages are offered often, and kept on hand. The common room/dining room is a very social area for the residents. My family and I are well pleased with Abode, and feel fortunate that she is able to be taken care of there.

My mom was not interested in moving into any sort of assisted living UNTIL I took her to visit Abode Care of Allentown. In the lobby there was a sign welcoming us to which mom said "they want you to feel at home here". The head of marketing gave us the tour of the facility and by the end of the tour mom said "when can I move in"? I was stunned and amazed because of the drive over, she wanted NOTHING to do with it. Mom moved into to her new home 3 weeks later and has no regrets. She feels safe and constantly tells us how happy she is there. She has made friends, enjoys the courtyard, and participates in some of the activities. Everyone has made her feel welcome. I provide regular feedback to the staff and they are always receptive and looking for ways to improve. Mom is happy and safe, I couldn't ask for more. I am thankful for the team at Abode for making this transition smooth and taking care of my mom. I no longer need to worry as I know she is in good hands.

My family and loved one have enjoyed our experience with Abode Care of Allentown. The staff have been kind, caring, attentive, and compassionate. Everyone is friendly. We would recommend you bring your loved one here for a visit and see if this will be a good fit for them.
