Lehigh Commons

My mother lives here, and there have been some very serious incidents that have happened to her. She is on oxygen and we've lost count of the number of times that staff have allowed her oxygen tanks to run out or otherwise interrupt her flow of oxygen. She has been given the wrong medication several times. There are almost daily staffing shortages. Residents are promised two showers per week, but sometimes she does not receive both showers, or else she has to wait longer than promised for the showers to be given. There are some excellent staff working here, but unfortunately, some of them are mean and unprofessional. On a better note, my mom loves the food in the facility.

We have been very happy with Lehigh Commons. They are very accommodating when having to schedule doctors appointments and travel back-and-forth. They make sure my father is up, showered and dressed every day and that he is getting his meals every day as well. They take care of all his medication, and call us with any concerns. We find it to be reasonably priced when compared to other facilities and as a family we are very glad that we chose Lehigh Commons

They also have daily activities for the residents to participate. I would recommend to others.

I am absolutely in love with doing activities and going out on the many trips. They take me shopping all over and go out for just the most wonderful lunches. I am always finding myself down in the activity room coloring the day away.

I have moved in this year and was very hesitant. However, as the months have gone on I have really enjoyed living here. The staff and other residents are very helpful and kind. I enjoy all the different activities to do and everything is so clean!

All the care staff are so kind and fun to talk to, they are there whenever I need them. I love eating with my friends and the kitchen staff are wonderful. I love going to bingo and all the games they have.

I like going to activities and getting out and about. They keep me active and busy with all kinds of crafts and events. The people are very nice to chat with, I’m never really bored living here. I’m always well cared for, I have no complaints staying healthy. I’ve made quite a few friends being here, from all walks of life.

I just love all the staff that help me every day, they treat me so good. My room is nice and clean. The housekeepers always keep everything tidy just the way I like it. All the people here are so nice. I just love talking to the other people in the dinning room, they are so lovely.

It’s a quiet place to live. I think the place is well maintained, inside and out. I feel that some staff does not follow through on their commitments to get the job done, I would like better timeliness. I find it very difficult to identify staff members by name. Name tags are meaningless, they are often not displayed properly. I would like dining staff to have better experience.

I enjoy living here. Everybody takes good care of me, they are all very kind people. I appreciate the little things they do for me, helping here are there. I love that family members are included in events, it makes me feel more connected.

Hello everyone. Lehigh commons is a very caring, courteous and friendly atmosphere. The staff is phenomenal and never passes a resident up without saying hello to them. Whatever a resident needs the staff is there to accommodate. The residents are checked on regularly. They still feel independent which is a good thing. The nursing staff is amazing as well as dining staff. Everyone cares. A good place to transition to.

They took excellent care of my father, in both assisted living and then memory care before he passed. Living far away, it gave me peace of mind that he was well cared for since I couldn't convince him to move near/ or in with me. They had great communication with our family and he was always happy when my brother and I visited.

Chris the manager of the facility is very attentive. The doctors care is also very good. The most important part is that for a person who said he would never go into a home. My father actually likes it there. He brought in things to personalize his room and make it feel more like home for him. He also enjoys the food, and they make sure that he gets dressed and showered every day, that he makes his meal times, and he gets around. Couldn't be happier about our choice at Lehigh Commons.

Lehigh Commons did an excellent job with taking care of a gentleman that I assist with caregiving - following his hospitalization and short stint in a nursing facility. They assisted with him getting back on his feet and kept us informed as his health issues required. The staff was friendly and caring all the time, even during the challenges of CoVid. We appreciate their making him feel welcomed and cared for. He felt like they were "family" and that meant a lot to him. From my perspective, the nursing team was responsive and thorough. Thank you Lehigh Commons!!

I feel they are handling the pandemic well.

I have been at Lehigh commons for several months now and very pleased so far. Everyone is very friendly!

I moved into Lehigh Commons a few months ago with my husband. The size of our one bedroom is very spacious and allowed us to bring in a lot of furniture and items from home. Staff come in to check on us and always keep our apartment tidy. I have enjoyed becoming quick friends with fellow residents at meals and activities.

I moved into Lehigh Commons a few months ago. The staff are friendly and help me and my wife with things on a daily basis. I have a car and able to drive to appointments, the store, and visit family. I am happy with my apartment and the building is always clean.
