A popular spot among veterans is the Alpharetta Walk of Memories. The small park has a number of permanent military hardware fixtures including an Iroquois Helicopter. The walk honors local veterans as well as their friends and family members who served in conflicts throughout history. The Alpharetta Senior Center also offers regularly scheduled events and activities in order to promote social interaction among seniors and the community.
