Biggest problem was turnover at EVERY position except activities mgr and front desk. That led to inconsistent quality and execution. We picked this community because; 1) We liked the move in special. 2) proximity to me 3) bright lighting 4) fit our budget 5) they made a good first impression. But they had quite a bit of turnover in the front office soon afterward

My main comment is that we felt that care lapses presented a danger to my loved one. We experienced significant lapses in care at Magnolia Place. This was so serious that we needed to move him quickly to another facility this year. The facility did not follow my dad's care plan for things like toilet assistance, bathing assistance and cleaning assistance. There were frequent mistakes with medication delivery. Problems with medications created potentially dangerous situations I would not recommend Magnolia Place until these issues are resolved

Lots of turnover. Long term ones are great. I think about 9 EDs just since our parents moved in [date removed]. Employees seem to think the issue is the micromanager Regional Mgr. Several who left and some still there have said that. [name removed](activities) works her booty off, does a great job. It's her whole life. There were price increases before they were even there for a year. Three since they moved in. Maintenance has also been revolving and I would rate 1 at most. Receptionists are excellent, but messages are forwarded and rarely acknowledged as there is no stable leadership. They have hired some amazing people, but are unable to retain most of them.

Everything they told us seemed wonderful, and then we got there and it wasn't true. I would tell others who are looking for care to ask questions, meet the staff, ask about their staff history. Only two staff members are left from when we first arrived. Magnolia Place is on their third Executive Director now. The agency staff they've brought in want to do as little as possible. I do think the Activities Director is awesome. But it's definitely not worth what we're paying.

I would have given it a 5, but the responsiveness of the business office is disappointing. The facility is clean. Staff are very friendly. Quality of care of good. Food is good. Activities are a bit boring. It is a good value. They are also pet friendly!

Magnolia Place of Roswell is going through a transition at the moment. There are a lot of new staff members. I will say the activities director is AWESOME. She did a Falalalala Christmas event and it was great. The rehab here is pretty good as well. It is more expensive than we would like. Overall there are pros and cons. We are hoping with the transition that there will be some improvements.

I toured this community and it was comparable to others in the area. This one was further from home, so we decided to go with a closer facility.

Magnolia Place of Roswell memory care unit was under construction when we came to tour, so it was kind of hard to tell what it was going to look like. We did really like the staff though and the gal who gave the tour was awesome. This was our 2nd choice out of the many facilities that we looked at, the location was just a bit too far for family.

My father moved to Magnolia Place recently from another facility in Roswell. He loves it here. It is nice and clean. The staff is friendly. The care level dramatically better than the other facility, and the cost is quite a bit lower. [name removed] at Magnolia has been a great help for my dad and for my family in this move. My dad was very hesitant about moving. [name removed] arranged for the facility van to pick up my father and spend the afternoon at the facility, touring and meeting the staff and residents. When my dad returned to his apartment he called and wanted to move right away. [name removed] helped us find a senior mover on short notice. She visited my dad in the hospital after he was injured at the other facility. She helped with unpacking. Today I saw a picture of my dad on the Facebook page for Magnolia Place - he was smiling for the first time that I have seen in 2022.

While searching for our MIL, we were given the name of Magnolia Place. It's so charming, very clean and so many fun activities going on for the residents. Staff was friendly and engaging. The food smelled delicious! We will be returning!

The community is inefficient and has unpredictable care. The community is unresponsive to feedback, and the nursing staff is unavailable and inaccurate and their record-keeping is not good. They are not an advocate for the residence. The pricing was higher than other communities in the area. I would not recommend this community until there are major changes.
