Hearthstone

We are happy with all. The staff is great and the facility is new but also really well done in décor. Room size is fine, the care is really good so far. I know the facility wasn't open yet but APFM did not suggest it as an option when we were looking last April. It should be on your radar now. We compliment them all the time but it has been great for my mom and for us as well. Would recommend highly.

My mother lived here from [date removed] and I cannot say enough positive things about Hearthstone. The place is very small, which we did not know at the time, but this is a positive. [name removed] is hands on with all of the residents and she really loves on them and makes sure they are well cared for. We moved my mom there at a scary time in the midst of covid when old folks were the most at risk and Hearthstone did not have any cases of covid, which was pretty remarkable. The staff here is so loving and they really do treat the residents like family.[names removed] are two of the kindest ladies I know and cared for my mom so well and were just so wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about Hearthstone. This is a hard decision and Lisa made it all so much easier and my family is so grateful that we were referred here. The other part of our decision making process was cost and we felt like Hearthstone was reasonable, especially compared to other places.

Beginning a parent's journey with dementia is rough for any of their family. It is a time full of new learnings and emotions. Hearthstone came into our lives at the right time, and with Hearthstone as the right place. Hearthstone is an affordable gem in the Roswell area. It has a gentle character to it in both facility and experience. It is not a sterile hospital-like space, but more of a home. [name removed] and her team welcomed Dad and us with open arms and insight into our new journey. Our family continues to learn the trials and challenges of Dad's battle with dementia, but we are thankful that Hearthstone helped us feel supported, and that he would be cared for. I had asked a friend who's wife spent close to five years at Hearthstone prior to bringing Dad there. I asked him to describe Hearthstone in one word. He replied "Caring". We are thankful for our time there, and are grateful for the care that the team put into my Dad's life.

This is a review referring to the review that was posted above Last place on earth !!!! I am very happy with Hearthstone and the care they give my mother ! The staff is Great , it just happens to be my sister who posted that last place on earth , and this is because she doesn’t know how to follow rules ! Hearthstone is doing the best they can with the restrictions that Governor Kemp has put on all assisted living facilities. My mother is very happy there , socializing and enjoying all they have to offer.

If I could put a negative rating for the overall rating I would. If this was the last assisted living facility on the face of the earth, I would NOT put a family member in here. It's old and shows, very few activities for the residents to keep them stimulated. When the residents are in their rooms there no way for them to call on staff, no call button. The food is skimpy and they go for over 12 hours with maybe a little snack from dinner (4:45 pm) to breakfast 7 / 7:30ish. There's little to no communication between staff and management. The parking is scary dark at night. They do as little as possible to the landscaping outside. Overall this company LOVES your money and you get very little.

From what I could see the community was pretty clean. They seemed to need more and better trained staff. They offered memory care but the staff did not seem adequately trained to handle it. There were no activities available for the residents.

Mom was here for almost 7 months before she died of Louie Body Dementia. She loved it there. It is perfect for someone who has declining memory. All the staff knows everyone's name and condition. [Name removed] made sure that the staff kept up to his standards, which were high. We were blessed to find this wonderful facility for my mom.

We toured this community for the care for my brother. The staff were nice and were able to answer my questions. The room was not as big as we were looking for at that time. We did like the activities that are offered here. We would recommend other families to this community for good care.

We are thrilled with them. It's clean, and the staff is very friendly, the nurses are so nice, and try to help. They know everyone. The value was one of the big things, we chose them for, it's one flat price. They do activities with the families, there is one nurse that plays Yahtzee with one lady, and they have someone playing piano all the time. It's pretty small, it's only 24 rooms all on one floor, and it's set up really well. The food is very good, the fruits and vegetables are always fresh, it's great!

Overall we've been very pleased with how things have turned out with Hearthstone! It's a very nice looking community, and I feel like the staff work very hard to make sure that all of their residents are comfortable and happy. They are definitely worth a look if you are searching for senior living options.

It has been a month now, and we are very happy so far. The suites are small, with a roomy bath. My mother-in-law is adjusting quite well. She loves the food and the activities. The administrative folks are wonderful and provide us with helpful updates each time we visit. The common areas are very nice and always squeaky clean. The ratio of caregivers to patient is ideal, much better than the assisted living facility she came from.

We have just been there for a short time, but so far, we are very happy with the choice we made. I looked carefully at all the categories, and there honestly wasn't one I could give anything but a top rating. The facility is very clean and tastefully decorated, the management and staff are helpful. compassionate and friendly, the value is the best we found any where in the area, the care surpasses anything we ever had at our old place, and the activities are such that everyone is included and encouraged to participate. The suites are small, but with the other advantages, we were more than happy to live with the size.

We have chosen Hearthstone as the place for my husband's mother. The place is spotlessly clean and has bright and cozy common areas. The suites are a little small, but are yet big enough to accommodate a twin bed, chests and her recliner. Its cost is within her budget, so we are very pleased.

Mom hasn't been at Hearthstone long but so far she is 100% better. She is eating and the caregivers are very attentive. Mom has been there since 3/28.

A great place!! Just the place for my mother, I am extremely happy with Hearthstone.

They had a flat fee. They were wonderful about her care and the food was good there. I liked the care, they gave her excellent care. She was always clean, and well groomed. She was happy and she liked it there she liked the people. She loved it! They were lacking in the activities a little bit. They are by far the best value! The food is good the care is excellent and the staff is very loving and caring.

Very professional staff. Clean. Saw lots of staff. Comfortably laid out for someone with a middle class background. Reasonably priced for services provided.

People too old and on hospice.

I liked the Director, they have a very large porch that looks out onto a lake that has ducks. They have a room that the family can meet in, this home is the most reasonable price I've seen, all inclusive, no extra charges. They house only 24 people, 2 apartments are empty, I like this place very much.
