Public assistance is available through Medicaid 1915(c) waiver programs and through the non-Medicaid state-funded Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders. This type of community is required to offer a number of services. These include wellness counseling, assistance with ADLs, delegation of supervision of self-administered medications, and provision of care and services to residents whose conditions are chronic and stable.
