Arden Courts A ProMedica Memory Care Community in Avon

My husband and I liked the set-up of the outer circular hallway and the simple furnished rooms. My mother lived there until she needed more care. What I didn't like was there never really seemed to be enough staff for these memory-impaired people during evening hours. The director refused to go to an outside agency when staff was low because it was too expensive. Even staff complained that staffing was low. I didn't like that Arden Courts was corporate owned.

We are putting my mother in law in here and thought this place was terrific! We can't say enough great things about this place. I have been through this with both my parents and I have got to say that this place is more wonderful then other places! We are very excited for her to join this community! The staff knows everyone by name and they were very eager to help us and her. We know she will have a long happy life here!

[name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] were our 1st point of contact and have been steady support throughout moving my Dad to Arden Courts of Avon. All support staff has been great and very personable. We appreciate that my father’s Dr can still care for him here via house calls and that hopefully McLean PT will be set up for him at Arden Courts. (McLean is like family to us and they referred AC to us as you’re a better fit for my dad & closer for my mom to visit.) Thank you.

We recently moved our dad into AC. We (the kids and our mom) were very nervous about the transition not only for our dad but also for our mom. The team have answered all of our questions in person and over the phone with care and compassion. A special shout out to the executive director [name removed], director of marketing [name removed], and two nurses [name removed] and [name removed] (The guidelines say I can’t use names!) for their above and beyond care they’ve shown our family. (There are others, too, but these are the folks I’ve met in person.) For example, when we first brought dad, I was very upset and [named removed] scooped me into his office to chat about the transition but also connect with me on a personal level. This was so calming and reassuring for me. Most importantly, our dad is safe, getting the care he needs, and the team is helping him transition to a new environment and routine. Thank you so much to Arden Courts.

The team here truly made this difficult transition easier for us and out our minds at ease about this next step in moms life. Everyone went out of their way to make her feel comfortable and welcome. Communication has been excellent and we have been well informed about the process and what to expect for moms care.

My mother had been bouncing around from difference facilities due to her memory and behavioral issues. She suffers from alcoholism and everything that comes with that. Arden courts was willing and able to take her in and work with her physically and mentally. The community focuses on cognitive/memory issues so while she was way too much for other facilities, to them it was status quo.

My mom and I recently toured Arden Courts and we were thoroughly impressed with what we saw. From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of residents with memory care requirements. The communal areas are bright and cheerful, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating. We also appreciated the secure outdoor spaces where residents can enjoy fresh air safely. Special thanks to [name removed], the admissions coordinator, for making our visit so informative and pleasant. [name removed] was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. His patience and understanding made a significant difference in our experience. My mother is a current resident and from our first tour, to moving her in, the process was seamless. The Team here is caring, attentive, and truly understands memory care- which was very important to us when deciding on a new residence for my mother. The outdoor space is second to none, and it puts my mother at ease knowing she is not “locked in.” It gives us peace of mind that she has access to the outdoors while also being in a secure environment.

The facility was nestled in a quiet, scenic area, providing a sense of peace away from the busy roads of the town. The Director of Arden Courts; [name removed] worked quickly and seamlessly from start to finish to assure my client had a smooth transition into the wonderful facility. We were provided with a tour followed by organized paperwork that was easy to understand and prepared prior to our arrival. The staff were welcoming and friendly. All questions were answered effectively and patience was portrayed throughout from staff and directors. We were treated with respect and kindness. The facility was clean, spacious and organized. Although it is never easy leaving a loved one, we left the facility confident that the client was in good hands. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is in search of a great memory care facility.

[name removed] at Arden Courts was incredibly helpful in meeting our family mid crisis. There was never a delay in response 24/7. We acquired the perfect respite for our 84 year old mother amid her heat induced dementia flare up. Mom’s experience was just what she needed to recover. Staff was cordial and accommodating at all times. Very comfortable experience was had from start to finish- we especially loved the outdoor gardens and walking path. Nestled in an outdoor oasis of nature with lovely sitting areas. Positive group of people in the front office and staff was equally cheerful. Highly recommend

My mom was previously a resident at Arden Courts in Avon. She deteriorated quickly and passed away. They were great. Much nicer and more attentive than her previous facility. We were very happy with the care.

My husband had to be accommodated in memory care with 1 day’s notice. The staff at Arden worked with me to secure him a place quickly. He has settled in and made some friends. The activity staff bends over backward to make the residents happy by doing the things they like. The rooms are all private and just big enough. The exterior grounds are well kept and have areas to sit as well as a walking path. Inside there is no way to get lost. The wings go off a central square and you can always find someone to assist you. The care staff, nurses, administrative staff, and housekeeping are all caring and helpful to both resident and families. I would recommend this facility very highly.

I like the community's set up, as it is set up as a round and the residents are able to wander and never get lost. They have outside courts that are secure for the residents to walk as well, and still be safe. The community was willing to accommodate the dietary restrictions for my loved one. The staff are good to work with if I have questions or concerns about my loved one, they are good at finding the answer and getting back to me.

We chose Arden Courts because my husband needs to be outside. He is able to be outside here without staff because they have a big and enclosed area. The second reason was the male/female population, it was about 40% men. I would recommend to others looking, they are specifically geared toward memory care and staff are properly to trained for that.

We love all the personal touches with this community and the gentlemen who runs the really cares about his staff, his residents and their families. He is so personable, responsive and respectful. From everything we have seen of the community it is well maintained, and the feedback we are hearing from the staff team is that our loved one is really enjoying the meals and that she has actually put on weight. The head nurse is amazing, she is so responsive, very polite very sweet we just love her. The aids along side her with the handful of times we have seen them are just as amazing. They are very comforting to our loved one, and we can really see she is getting that one on one love and care.

This is the absolutely the place to send your loved one, particularity if they have memory care issues. The community is compassionate, caring, and has excellent care. They are unbelievable. Their special is memory care.

I'm very happy with Arden Courts and choosing this community for my loved one. The quality, concern, care, and caution on the pandemic for the residents is something that stands out to me. Everything seems to be good here.

From what we have seen the food looks to be tasty, and the activities are awesome. We could not want our loved one anywhere else it is a beautiful community. However, they have increased the prices every year that he has been there which has been difficult financially.

This community has been very good towards our loved one, and they have been pandemic free this entire time. The treat us and our loved one like family, Before the pandemic they had great activities, there were sing a longs, different diverse kinds of speakers, they also had gospel and other musicals. There is bingo, and other games to play. They also have a backyard with a garden. It is a smaller community, all on one floor.

Nice smaller facility focused specifically on memory care rather than assisted living. I really liked the outdoor walking areas for relaxation and exercise.
