The overall experience was a life saver. We could visit her anytime yet it wasn't as stressful for everyone, and it was getting way too much for my father in law to handle. Most of the time the facility was very clean, once in a while they wouldn't wipe down a chair that someone had wetted. But most of the time it was clean. There were some staff there that was amazing, they just loved her. Then you had some that were not made for that job. I didn't deal with the administrative part if that is the part with bill paying. The food wasn't too bad until she had to have pureed food, then it seemed like she got the same stuff everyday. They did have some good entertainment about once a week. She loved it when they brought little animals that she could hold. They would have people come sing which she liked. I miss some of the people that took care of her, two of them actually came to the wake, which was so sweet. Those were her favorite ones, it meant a lot. So overall I would recommend All American but I did hear that some of the good people she dealt with have left.... Read more

I would give a rating of 5 to every category. My mom lived there for 13 months before she passed away. My family and I were very grateful to AA for the excellent care and compassion that was shown to her AND to me. They will always have a special place in my heart. I'm so glad I called A Place for Mom because you were instrumental in helping me reach out for help.

The grounds are beautiful and I bet this is a nice option for seniors without medical issues. However, this was a horror show for my loved one with medical complexities. This facility is not equipped to provide care for residents that need nursing care. There are a few staff member that are there for the right reasons but most are cold, don’t want to be questioned, incredibly unprofessional, cruel, uncaring, not compassionate… I wanted this to be a place for my loved one to be cared for with kindness and dignity. They humiliated my loved one, let my loved one sit and suffer and then blamed the family. The executive management is inappropriate, unprofessional and aggressive. What an absolutely horrid experience this was for our family. Think twice. There are other options.

Patient care is a zero. The staff has NO COMPASSION for their residents. Its alarming. The nursing staff is horrifyingly rude to family members. They are not truthful about resident care. The place is pretty and maintained, but if your loved one has any medical complications, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

It is a nice place the staff are friendly and kind. They must all take a class about caring for Alzheimer's patients and they ask us to write a history about my father in law so they can get to know him and when he talked about his past they understood what kind of person he was and could engage in conversarion with him about it. Which was important to him to be treated like a person not just another patient. He felt validated while he luved there. Respected.

Not everything we were told in the initial interview with them was totally accurate, but my loved one here seems to be content.

Most of the staff is great! There are a few that don't seem like they want to be there. There are a few who would rather be on the phone than sit with the patients. It was new and lower cost from other places. It seemed really clean.

Our family had an in person tour with All American at Enfield and we loved this community, it is very clean and inviting. The staff we met with were excellent, however it was just now the place for our loved one.
We are very pleased with the All American at Enfield community. The building is impeccably maintained inside and out. I am in awe of the colorful flower gardens and landscape. The covered porch and comfy rockers provide a great place for residents and family members to meet outdoors. There are lots of cozy places inside and out to sit with loved ones. Mom and I really enjoy the dining room. We appreciate the varied menu and delicious meals. The dining staff truly caters to everyone. What I notice most is the culture of care and kindness at this facility. It's a profession that many of these staff members appear to have been called to and that makes an incredible difference! It's a happy place, a skillfully run and professional faculty where residents and family members feel valued and connected.

Our family had an in person tour with All American at Enfield and we thought it was a very nice community, it was brand new and the director [name removed] was very helpful and informative.
I feel assured dad is well cared for and safe. They have caring people and shows respect and dignity to elderly. Dad is HAPPY. Go check them out! A great place for mom or dad or self if paying out of pocket.

Our family had an in person tour with All American at Enfield, and overall we thought it was a really nice place and tour, but at the time our loved one needed to move in there were no more single rooms left.

A Place for Mom has scored All American at Enfield Assisted Living 8.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
