This screening includes a number of areas of interest such as medications, treatments, and other required nursing services, RN conducts consultation with the resident, he program must be reviewed as the resident’s condition requires, and plan must include types and frequency of services needed. This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include communities must provide residents with three meals per day. This type of community is required to have a staff member on duty 24 hours a day. There must be one toilet for every 1 residents and one bath or shower for every 1 residents. Public assistance is available through Medicaid 1915(c) waiver programs and through the non-Medicaid state-funded Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders.
