I rate them all 5's. Right from the help I received from your organization through ever aspect at the Arbor's. I think the Arbor's is a fantastic facility and the staff was outstanding going above and beyond to help my Mom adjust to the move and to help her during her stay. Everyone I encountered from the Management to the Kitchen Staff and especially the Nurses and Aids consistently demonstrated that they really cared about the residents

my mom hasn't engaged in much since activities are not her thing. our loved one does complain about the meals. However, the tour was very helpful & in depth. The apartment is lovely although very hot ; no AC in the winter. Little noise, nicely decorated, friendly & helpful staff.

They are amazing!!! The staff...even those I don't know are so welcoming and sweet. I'm there every day, so most know me, but those who don't act they know me for years. The hug and comfort mom all the time, they welcome me, our dog, my children and offer us dinner and snacks to eat with mom. The place is beautiful and clean, calm and full of activities . I would recommend them to ANYONE! When I am in need, I will be moving here. they make it feel like it's MY home! My 9 year old loves being there!

My loved one is currently a resident at The Arbors at Westfield and everything at this facility has been mostly good for her so far. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. It takes maintenance a very long time to accomplish things. Also, my loved one's apartment building seems to have an issue with cooling down. The building is very hot. The move in process was okay. Communication with the family is okay. I would probably recommend The Arbors at Westfield to others, but we will see.

The staff here are very caring and welcoming. Each resident is treated like family. It's a very positive place. My aunt never talks about wanting to leave we as the family are encouraged to visit whenever we want. It is a smaller atmosphere and fits her needs better. The rooms are very big and they are private. She has a large kitchenette and living room. Her bed room is also very large and the bathroom has a walk-in shower and is very roomy. There are 2 closets for storage.

The Arbors felt like an old-time hotel but with people in wheelchairs nodding off in the lobby. The units were nice but the long walk on carpeted flooring (not great for wheelchairs) and the stiff nature of door intros to residents added to the typical "old people" feel of the place. The one thing I pointed out that I liked (a pretty upstairs open porch) was not, I was told, recommended to residents. I guess they thought it would isolate them? I have to say the difference in sales folks between [facility name removed] and the Arbors was immense. At the Arbors, every other sentence was "we don't provide that." The opposite was true at [facility name removed] - much of the difference might have been the person touring me, but the difference in attitude couldn't have been greater.
My loved one used to live in this community. This is a good community, smaller and much less going on. I feel like they lacked staff and I felt like I could provide more care sometimes compared to what they provided.
We moved our mother to the Arbors in Westfield approximately 4 years ago. She was able to 'try' out the facility by renting a furnished unit for a short period of time while she was waiting for an apartment to become available. She was in the temp apartment for about 3 months and then moved to a permanent unit. The apartments are spacious with a full separate bedroom, large bath and combination living/kitchen area. All the staff are attentive and caring and treat the residents like family. They even had Mom's favorite ice cream in her new apartment for move-in day! The activities are great, food yummy and common areas lovely. Our family has peace-of-mind knowing she's in good hands!

The tour and the people were very Nice. I like their philosophy on keeping both staff and residence safe. Another good option, just need the financials. Update: Did an in person tour. The place was clean, people friendly, easy access to everything and lots of safety measures in place. I would move there but unfortunately my parents decided they were not ready to move from their home, even though I think it would be in their best interest.

I did a virtual tour of this facility [name removed] the provider I spoke with was very informative, answered every question and made me feel very comfortable. The place is beautiful and the staff seemed to always be smiling and [name removed] was very knowledgeable with all information I needed.

Warm atmosphere with professional, caring and friendly staff. The residence was well kept, full of light with fun decor. Activity director seems to have a full calendar of diversified things to do. The only thing I would share is to ask about their assessment fee up front. We went to four facilities other than The Arbors and none had an assessment fee at all.

I love the Arbors at Westfield- the staff is amazing, the surroundings are lovely, and the food is better than most facilities. Every staff person I have come in contact with seems to sincerely love their work and care for the welfare of their residents. It is so much better than where my aunt and uncle had been, I am very grateful I was able to get them in there.

A Place for Mom has scored The Arbors at Westfield 9.4 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
