They were very friendly and caring-my father enjoyed it while he was there!!! Always willing to answer any questions I had!! We have a great experience there
It is a nice place the staff are friendly and kind. They must all take a class about caring for Alzheimer's patients and they ask us to write a history about my father in law so they can get to know him and when he talked about his past they understood what kind of person he was and could engage in conversarion with him about it. Which was important to him to be treated like a person not just another patient. He felt validated while he luved there. Respected.
The Arbors at Amherst has been wonderful, especially with the whole process as it was happening they were great at explaining everything. On move in day the staff were all super accommodating and helpful with getting her room all set up for her. They offer a lot of activities for the residents so that has been nice. It is expensive but we think it is worth it for the peace of mind that we have.
