Staff is really nice. They look out for my mother. Like if she misses a meal, they check in on her. Oh the appt transportation is a pain. It's only available 2 days a week half day. Have to get approval ahead of time. And the they drive you but do not assist into building. When it's a large medical bldg this is difficult for someone in a wheelchair.
It's a good environment for our age group and the amenities and activities are sufficient enough to keep us engaged and comfortable. We picked this community, because of the location and cost.
Our experience with this community was good, overall it is kept pretty clean. The care services are pretty reliable, the activities were however a little bit weaker. The food at this community was very good, and we really liked the responsiveness of the staff and the availability the memory care unit had

For many seniors, the financial burden of home ownership might deter them from living an independent life. Independent Living Communities offer a good alternative. Basic tasks such as meal preparation and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and social activities is provided, allowing residents the autonomy to use their time as they wish, free from daily obligations. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering opportunities to socialize with guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies vary between communities, many residences allow pets as well. If residents decide they would like to enlist the services of independent medical providers, they may always do so. There are a variety of expenditures and advantages to balance while selecting an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these services are covered in your service plan: initial assessment fee, move-in fee, laundry, private phone, utilities, meals, internet access, and field trips. The amenities associated with independent living include private rental hall, golf course, laundry service, beauty salon & barber shop, fitness center & swimming pool, community activities, healthcare center, and security guards.
