I love my apartment and I have my furry friend with me. My Apt consists of a kitchenette with loads of storage and sufficient counter space. It has a living room off the kitchenette where I have room for a fold down table, 2 chairs to put at the table, and a futon which is my sofa. My TV is huge and sits on 2 large boxes consisting of 18 openings which hold an assortment of books, family photos, and my late daughter's dolls, mostly Barbies. It is a lovely area. From that you enter a good sized bedroom with a walk-in closet. I have my dog's bed in there. His kennel is under the large bedroom windows. He has a choice of where he prefers to sleep, usually choosing the bed in the closet. Off the bedroom is a full bathroom. The shower is large enough to put a chair in which makes me feel so much safer. There is quite a bit of storage space under the sink counter with a full size mirror and a small cabinet over the toilet for toilet paper and assorted towels.
We were very fond of Stoney Brook right away, even though our loved one was not there for very long we were very impressed. They are a small enough community to where the residents will get more one on one care. Overall our loved one was pleased with the meals and dining, and we were pleased with the value for cost. The staff is very helpful. The location is great. Right across the street, there's a shopping center that has food, home improvement, restaurants, banks, gas - pretty much anything you would need, which is very convenient. The place is basically new, so the apartment is very nice. And it's a great place to call home.
