Yes, I would recommend this community to other families. I love where I'm living! It's a beautiful place and I have had so many wonderful experiences here and have enjoyed meeting so many new friends here that I already feel blessed to know. All in all, it is much better than where my sister is living. And, instead of having only one room and a bath, Aviva offers one and two bedrooms with a kitchen and living room. And the bathroom is roomy with a large closet. Three meals a day are also furnished with a choice of getting a different meal if we don't like the first meal that is offered!... Read more

My wife has not been overly accepting of the staff. Some are more successful with handling her resistance than others. At times she seems to be comfortable and resolved but she can be very upset (crying and mad). I knew it is a hard job, but I do expect the staff to be trained for her better than I am.

The food is much better than my parents previous facility. I like the privacy of their apartment and the fact my parents don’t have to deal with people wondering. They are very good about responding to questions I have. The caregivers really seem to care. I especially like the watches the residents wear that is also a call button and alerts caregivers of a fall. I think their services are good for the cost incurred.

I am very happy that I chose Attiva. I don't believe any facility is perfect, but I am happy here. The food is okay - some days better than others - but it could be much improved. I really like the cooks personally. I don't think any place is perfect, but I don't want to underrate them.

What our family likes the most about the Aviva Granbury community is the staff. The staff was kind to my mom and the rest of my family. They were very comforting when my mom passed. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families and in fact we do often.

Friendly staff. Answer all questions. Great communication. Chose this over others due to price, management or sales director we met with and also room size and accommodations.

The staff at Aviva Granbury is involved and they know the family when they walk in. They give feedback on how the residents are doing. Housekeeping comes weekly and they do wonderful and leave cards behind of their being there with date and time. The maintenance staff always respond on the day when asked. We get information on Facebook of activities and we are going to a Fall Festival celebration tonight. The move in process was smooth and they had everything ready for the day we transitioned. The food is great and the staff that waits on the tables treat it like a restaurant with timely service. One thing that the staff mentioned is that it can take 3-6 weeks for people to adjust and they were right. At about the 6th week, I reminded my Mom that she still had purpose in her life and she has adapted well by being encouraged and encouraging others. She said," If I can't be in my house then this is a great place to live." After she realized the friends that she was making, it made a difference and the staff helped with connecting residents together to build these friendships. I would recommend Aviva Granbury to others, in fact I already have.

It was a very nice facility. The staff were good. The price made the difference in choice of the community that I chose.
We toured Aviva Granbury and liked what we saw. However, we didn't find it as easy for our loved one to get around here and we preferred a central location to town. The staff, friendliness, and cleanliness seemed great.
Memory care staff was absolutely incredible for my mom and my entire family! [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed]went above and beyond and I will continue to love and care about them even though my mom has passed. Again, the staff was amazing and treated us like we were family and cared for my mom with professionalism and in a kind and loving manner. [name removed]does an incredible job and is so gentle and kind Loves all the residents we were so happy to find such a friendly, loving place that truly felt like home

It's very clean. They are very friendly. The staff is awesome. The food was great. They have a pool table, and extra things around for the residents. My loved one has a one bedroom apartment, and gets three meals per day. it's great value for the money. Anytime I need anything, they are always very accomodating.

My loved on was her and then the community found that they did not have enough staff to care for my loved one. This was a very nice area and they say they are memory care but they are really more assisted living.
Response from Aviva Granbury
February 7, 2022Thank you for the positive 4 star review of our community! Our Memory Care is a "locked unit" and you are right to say that we feel more like an assisted living, which is what we strive for; making our residents feel at home! With all-inclusive care we want to make sure that our community is a right fit for your family needs. Sometimes, unfortunately, we are unable to meet the higher care needs of residents who need skilled services. I will be more than happy to help assist you in your search for finding the perfect home for your loved one, even if that couldn't be with us.
Amenities do not correspond with listing at Quail Park. If you are expecting reliable transportation forget it, all we get is excuses. Also a listing statement about an emergency button in our bedrooms, not hooked up. How can amenities be listed if they do not exist?

I went on a tour at this community. The staff was nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions. It seemed very crowded to me. It was a little further out than I wanted. It was nice and clean. I would recommend families tour this community before making a decision.

This community has gone above and beyond to accommodate my mom and they treat them with dignity. They have worked compassionately and effectively, the communication between them and I is wonderful. The staff is very kind. They have homestyle food that is good and tasty and plenty of it. They enjoy all the daily activities like bingo for my mom in the memory care and lots of musical groups and different types of parties. The outdoor area is nicely decorated. I would recommend this community.

I have no complaints of how things went for my tour of this place for my loved one. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. The property was clean and they had a lot of great amenities available for all of the residents. It was just not the right location for her in the end decision but I would recommend it to anyone.

The care has been good overall, it seems about the same as most places of this type, not really outstanding in any way. I do appreciate that they've been good about communication, and always get in touch quickly if any issues come up. However, I've heard fairly regular complaints from my loved one and others who live in the facility about the food, so some improvements could definitely be made there.
