Super nice staff , very attentive to the clients that r staying, great care by far.

We have been at Brookdale Lakeshore for 6 years. The care our mother has received, especially since the arrival of the new director has been wonderful. They are truely our extended family.

Mother has been a resident here for eleven years. The staff is doing a good job. The director and activities coordinator go above and beyond to help residents stay active and involved. The nurse addresses the healthcare needs. Maintenance is very helpful.

Brookdale is amazing. Staff is attentive and very friendly. The community is very clean.

This is a top notch facility that truly, hands down, cares for my folks, just like it was their own family member. Love the staff, aids and workers, they are apart of our family.

Brookdale on Lakeshore was a great decision for our loved one. The staff is always kind and compassionate. Brookdale on LAkeshore is always professionally run. There are always activities for the resident and they are secure, safe and happy. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone.

Brookdale Lakeshore is a top notch facility thats incredibly clean and organized. Care team is compassionate, experience and dedicated to the well being of our parents. They got to the extra mile to make sure everyone feels loved and respected. The move to an assisted living community was one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make and feel confident we chose the best place for them to be.

We picked this community, for our loved one because of the cost. They have responsive staff, who cares about the residents.

I really like the facility in Waco. They are nothing but nice and good to us. Highly recommend. We picked this community, because it was a smaller size and felt more comfortable and personable. It's very nice and great place for my parents.

We've been happy with them. The director and placement director were very helpful with getting Mom and Dad in there, working within our budget, and making it all happen in a timely manner when we had to move quickly. They've been very responsive after that as well. And the facility itself looks good.

The food was really good, the rooms provided were good i would give it a five out of five. We really liked the layout of the community and the sizes of the rooms were nice. We would recommend this to a family or friend

When my mom was no longer able to live in her senior community in August of 2017, I had a very short time to find a suitable new home for her. Complicating the situation was she (and I) was located in Dallas, TX, but her wish and her son-in-law/grandchildren's wish was to re-locate to Waco (~110 miles south of Dallas) where they were. So walking into Brookdale Lakeshore for the 1st time was very stressful, as I'd been to a couple of other senior communities in the Waco area that were highly recommended, yet when I visited them they were either poorly maintained or the staff were indifferent to our challenges (or both). THANK GOD WE FOUND BROOKDALE LAKESHORE! My girlfriend (now wife) is a health insurance agency owner had suggested we check them out, and we immediately knew it was the place for my mom. From day 1, the management team there ([names removed]) took the time to hear our needs and reassure us that she would get excellent care there. She is currently in her own 1 bedroom apartment as she is still able to manage the majority of her daily needs. But the staff is always available and willing to help her with other tasks that she occasionally forgets how to do. Brookdale Lakeshore just blew away the other senior living situations in the Waco area that we reviewed for cleanliness, support, and activities for the residents. My mom's 1 year anniversary there was on [date removed], and I cannot thank [names removed] and the entire staff enough for their help, support, and love to make her living there as comfortable as possible. It’s truly a relief to know that my mom is so well taken care of, and I’m so thankful to have found Brookdale Lakeshore in Waco for her. I highly recommend them to anyone that has a family member who needs to be in a similar setting in the Waco, TX area to check them out for their services and see if they would be a good fit for your loved one. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!!

Alzheimers disease is terrible for the patient and their family, and while many think they can care for the patient in their home, I knew as a single man at the time that it just wouldn't work. Brookdale Lakeshore just blew away the other assisted living situations in the Waco area that we reviewed for cleanliness, support, and activities for the residents. And most importantly,, when she becomes qualified for Medicaid, she will be able to transition in place there so as not to have to go through the stress of having to find another place to live (of likely much lesser quality). My mom's 1 year anniversary there was on Oct 15th, and I cannot thank Ed, Betty, and the entire staff enough for their help, support, and love to make her living with Alzheimer's as comfortable as possible. I am so thankful to have found Brookdale Lakeshore in Waco for my mom, and I highly recommend them to anyone that has a family member dealing with Alzheimers or dementia to check them out for their services. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!!

They feed the residents cold stale sandwiches for supper on a regular basis. The "salesman/marketing" person will lie to you & promise whatever you want until he gets his check then he is unavailable. Check out their false menu they put on their website. This place gets a F from me.

First place we visited. The person giving the tour was very nice and knowledgable. The rooms were average. Courtyard was pleasant and they have a nice garden room and lots of activities.

I have no complaints about the tour I had taken at this community. The staff where all friendly and made sure to accommodate our needs as best as they could possibly could. They had a nice floor plan with lots of great amenities available to all of the residents. It was just not the right fit in the end decision.

I had a great experience with my respite stay at this community. The staff were nice. They offer some interesting activities including a movie afternoon in the mini auditorium. The food was good, nourishing and they offer good portions. They keep the community clean. I would recommend this community and I have even considered moving in there myself one day.

I am happy with the care at this nice community. The staff are outstanding. The menu is wonderful and they care about what the residents are wanting. The activies are offer and she is participating. We would highly recommend this community for the excellent care and the good value for the care of a loved one.

Mine was a very enjoyable time in assisted care. I stayed only a week, but was very happy with the experience. I could not keep up with all the provided opportunities. The ones I attended were very good. The food was great. The choices were attractive. All was tasty and healthy. I found all the staff and other people to be very friendly and helpful.
