The staff at Arbor House was great and assisted with the move in, as well as end of life transition. We highly recommend this place.

If we could give them a 4.5 we would. They could be cleaner & have more physical exercises. However, based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to other families.

Our moms stay at arbor house has been wonderful. The staff and employees are very aware of the needs of each individual and are quick to respond to their needs. My family highly recommend this assisted living facility.

Every employee seems nice and knows the residents by name. They seem genuinely concerned.

Those words were the mantra of my mother. However, after living alone for 17 years in her beautiful country home, mother announced she was ready to make the move to assisted living in Waco where her daughter lived. My sister researched all the possible facilities and was sold on all that Arbor House had to offer. What a blessing! Mother spent the last 3 years of her life there loving everything about it from the room, the meals,, the transportation and especially the myriad of activities [name removed] planned to make each day unique and fun-filled. Mother was safe, had tons of friends, and loved having joy in each new day! Arbor House is quality living.

When I heard about Arbor House I wanted to place my husband in their memory care facility. After my husband was at two other facilities, he was accepted. They were very welcoming and everyone treated us like family. They were all very nice and helpful. The staff was very friendly and frequently text or called to tell me about my husband's status. I had to travel from Bryan to Waco and Arbor House was very welcoming and accommodating to help me see my husband as much as I could. Arbor House is the only place I would recommend for anyone to place their loved ones. If I get to the point where I can not take care of myself Arbor House is where I would want to go.

Our mother has been at Arbor House for 4 years and she loves it there and we are immensely pleased as well. The staff treats all of us, especially Mom like family. We toured several facilities with her when choosing one for her and we all fell in love with AH. It is just the right size for her (not too large) and she feels like she’s at home. The medical care and care friends care there is superb. We thank the Lord every day that we discovered Arbor House.

My sister and brother would agree that we had concerns when we began this journey with our mother a couple of months ago. Where was the right place? Who could take care of her like us? Who would keep her safe and provide all those essential things that brings purpose to one’s life? We knew deep in our hearts that mom needed more than what we could give her…..a better quality of life. And that’s what we have found at Arbor House for mom. The first day we felt like she was at home and we could see she was at ease….the staff has been remarkably helpful and easy to talk to…..very friendly. As the days have gone by we see mom safe and comfortable…..she is involved and encouraged…..she is respected for who she is……she senses a purpose especially around her new friends as she encourages them. We have seen an improvement in her life and she seems happy. Thank you to all the staff at Arbor House for making our mom feel purposeful and giving us a peace of mind.

My mother was there 5.5 years. The caregivers are courteous, caring, and keep the residents engaged with games and exercises. They have talented people come in to sing with them and do crafts. They celebrate all birthdays and holidays. The management is first class. They all truly love and care for the residents. There is only one choice in my opinion. You won't regret it.

Everyone here is so friendly and loving. Treat my mom like their own family and it just warms my heart and soul to see such kindhearted people taking time from their lives to make the lives of people like my mom better and easier. The food here is amazing, and i have never been to a facility more clean and welcoming. If you are looking for a place to put mom/dad or both Arbor House in waco is the best place to go. They do exercises everyday, and have movie days with the residents as well. My dad was in assisted living at Arbor House first and now is in memory care there. The staff is always kind and attentive to his somewhat erratic behavior. The nurse on staff looks at any concern I have and the staff has consistently made dad and me comfortable. Dad seems to enjoy the activities, visiting entertainment and chaplain. Since dad is too difficult to take out of the facility they kindly arrange for us to occasionally lunch with dad away from other residents. I visit frequently and have never heard a cross or harsh word from staff toward any residents. It is a particular comfort to me knowing dad is well cared for.

My relationship with Arbor House is less than 90 days. During this time it has been an excellent experience. The administration and staff are always willing to help and listen to our needs and questions. My loved one seems to really enjoy the facility and even calls it home already. All the residents are very friendly and have reached out to my loved one to make her feel welcome. Each time I go for a visit, I am alway greeted by name and feel very welcomed. The facility and property are always neat and clean. I would highly recommend Arbor House to anyone needing assisted living.

We have had a wonderful experience with Arbor House. They made my mother in law’s transition smooth and easy. The staff are caring, patient and warm. They treat her and us like family! It’s so important to have employees who are trained in dementia and care of the elderly rather than just paid caregivers. We love everyone there and are so thankful for the care and compassion they provide! Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a home away from home for their loved ones.

Arbor House is such a blessing to my family! The staff gave my mother the option for assisted living but they KNEW she was really needing memory care. They are so knowledgeable about what is needed and how to keep your loved one happy and comfortable. The staff is so friendly and loving to each resident, I’ve seen it with my own eyes! I went to 4 other facilities in my area and this was by far the best- it checked all my boxes for quality of life for my mother. I couldn’t have been happier and my mother loves her friends and the activities she does here. They are angels on earth..

We were blessed to find The Arbor House. All of the staff members greet everyone, residents and visitors alike, with a smile; they are kind and gentle with my mom. Her apartment offers her both privacy and a quick response when she requires assistance. The food is great and the dining room and common areas are lovely. The grounds are well-kept. A variety of activities are available to residents. I especially appreciate their efforts to increase care level as needed rather than force a move to another facility.

My loved one and family have had a wonderful experience with Arbor House. The staff are caring, kind, and helpful. Everyone is friendly here. The food is good for the residents. There are lots of activities for the residents to stay engage and socialize with each other. The community is a smaller place, and gives a feeling of personal touch to everything they do. We highly recommend the community to others.

It's a great community and a great experience even at the end of life. We picked this community, because it was closest to where my wife & I lived, and was impressed on the tour. I would recommend to other families.

We're loving Arbor House of Waco. It feels like home. We have gotten to know the staff and love all of them for the most part. They go out of their way to make the people around them feel good and feel comfortable.
