My auntie moved from Watermark independent to Watermark assisted living in November 2023. We have been so pleased with [name removed], the Assisted Living Director, and his staff. They listen to our needs and do everything to make things as easy as possible for us while keeping my auntie comfortable. The Med Tech ladies are friendly and thorough. Even the Dining Room ladies are considerate and helpful to the residents as well as to me, the family. [name removed], the Activities Director, works hard to find age appropriate activities for the residents and encourages each who is able to participate. Everyone has been polite, accommodating, responsive and helpful. My mother who 95 years old is in independent living but has assistance with bathing and with daily medications. She tells me they are always friendly and cheerful. She even talks highly of the maintenance men and cleaning lady. She recently injured her back and we were happy to find out that their is an inhouse PT and she doesx wonders with my mom.

Response from The Watermark at Broadway Cityview
April 2, 2024Dear Carmen, Thank you for the 5-star review! I am so delighted to read about how happy your mother is with us and that we have won your trust. We are pretty proud of our great team, friendly atmosphere, and the fine dining options we offer. Our residents mean the world to us and we are glad to hear that your mother is getting stronger and stronger with each physical therapy session.
The in laws really like the food, the amount of activities, the ambiance (ie well lit / well maintained) and concierge service. They really haven't mentioned anything they dislike or are unhappy with.

Response from The Watermark at Broadway Cityview
April 2, 2024Thank you for the five-star review and your wonderful feedback. We are glad to hear that your loved ones are enjoying our fine dining, activities, services and warm ambiance we have to offer.
We took a tour of The Watermark at Broadway Cityview during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. This facility was terrible. It was way overpriced and it felt dark and outdated.
Response from The Watermark at Broadway Cityview
June 19, 2023Thank you for taking the time to write an online review. While our building is certainly not new, we keep it as clean as a whistle and filled with vibrant programs and happy residents. We pride ourselves on a warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere and that comes easily because our team truly loves what they do. Our sense of community comes from knowing our residents, their likes and dislikes and providing a fun-filled lifestyle with lots of events, programs and choices. If we can tempt you to visit again we'd be happy to introduce you to a few clubs, groups and ongoing programs that would maybe suit your interests. Best of luck in your search and thanks again for visiting.
My husband was admitted to skilled care during Covid restrictions. I had not seen him in sometime but was asked to meet him at a doctor's appointment. As an RN and was appalled at his appearance and condition.. His clothes were dirty, his finger nails were 2 inches long caked with dirty, beard not trimmed. He was a very sick man. He was in such bad shape the doctor and NP wanted to report this facility to the State. I asked the nursing staff to trim his nails and was told they don't do nails. If they sent him out in public in that condition I can only imagine what it was like for him staying there. I immediately asked for his discharge. He came home and died 30 hours later. I have been due a refund of $2300 for 8 months and despite, calls, emails and letters no check. Please do NOT subject your loved one to this skilled care facility.

It is a nice, friendly, and clean place to live. I chose this community because it was the best value for the money. Before COVID, the activities were great, and there was something going on all the time. The food was good with a variety in restaurant style dining, but now they deliver to the room. I would recommend this community to other families.

They try very hard to accommodate the resident here. Right now, things are different due to COVID, but they have a good accommodation plan in place under the situation. We visited four communities, and this was far and away the best and we had few friend already living here. I would recommend this community to others. The food was great when we had it in the dining room with a lot of variety. We had a choice of three entrees at each meal.

I live in a villa. The heater/ac is a little noisy, but that’s OK. The faucets, toilet, shower, etc. but, so far still working. The water pressure is not good. Kitchen appliances all work and are OK. My rent includes 2 meals a day. Breakfasts are great on M, Wed and Fri. Other days are make-do... Dry cereal dispensed from a glass jar and gets ground up in the process. Danish and muffins are the same every Tues, Thur and Sat. I quit going to evening meal s ‘cause the entrees were lousy. I now only go to breakfast, and cook my own lunch and supper. Grounds are well-kept, Villa maintenance is good and first level of Administration is OK. Management above that needs attention. I don’t mind living here. But it’s very over priced.

Residents were happy and cheerful. Staff were friendly. Apartments were spacious. Lots of amenities at hand. Ability to move to higher levels of care in the same community a plus.

The first night my husband got there no one came to check on him.Bandages were soaked for 7 hours bed is too small for him the techs not very friendly. Now we just have to go through the trouble of getting him moved to another facility. I would do my homework before I take my loved ones to this place.

We really liked Brookdale and the multi levels of care. We liked the main community area and their dining area. The only downsides were the facility to older and the showers are not roll in, they have a big step in. And the other thing was that several of the rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor and not good for self evacuation in case of fire.

Like that it is a gated community with individual living space w/garage. No complaints. Everything was nice except the kitchen was small and outdated. The cost $3595 monthly is based on location and gated community.

I toured here, and I liked it. However, the facility is really, really huge. It's very nice, and the staff was very welcoming, but it's so big, I worried my mother would get list there, so we shoes another community.

I am very pleased with how things are going for my sister since she made the move into this community. The staff have been outstanding and I am comfortable with the care they are providing her. She is always so happy and vibrant when I go to visit her which really gives me a peace of mind. Overall we are very satisfied with this place and would recommend it to anyone.

Brookdale Broadway Cityview was another community that I toured. It was a nice facility and the person that took me around was fantastic. The only reason we did not choose them was that we had to go with the least expensive place, but other than that, this was a very good option for anyone.

I have no complaints about the experience I had at this community. All of the staff where friendly and helpful to my loved one and I during our tour. I liked the floor plan they had, it was open with wide hallways and lots of extra space in common areas for when families visit. It just was not the right location for my loved one.

The staff are doing well with caring for my mother. They make themselves very accessible and are responsive to any concerns that we may have. The food is generally pretty good. The community is very nice and clean throughout. They offer a variety of activities for my mother to enjoy like exercise, worship service, and outings to a community church.
