I recommend Cantata because they have a robust rehab gym staffed with professionals in physical therapy, occupational therapy, balance, speech/memory therapy. It is located on a quiet tree lined landscaped campus with onsite Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Independent Living. The staff communicates very well with the resident and the family. Price is fair market/moderate.
Based on our experience I would recommend. So far everything has been very good no problems and everyone has been great and easy to work with.
I would definitely recommend Silver Glen Senior Living to others. The facility itself is great, the rooms are really nice, and everyone seems so nice and welcoming. Another great thing they have is they work with a company that provides Physical therapy, Speech and OT on the premises.. so we've been taking advantage of that with my mom. So convenient to have that in-house and not have to drive to appointments!

Nursing homes, also called skilled nursing facilities, provide long-term care for seniors with significant physical or mental health conditions, and short-term care to people recovering from an injury or hospital stay. Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home provides residence to two or more individuals who are not related by marriage or by blood to the administrator. This type of establishment provides its residents with 24-hour care administered by registered nurses. These nurses offer personal care, maintenance and other health related services for seniors who cannot care for their needs because of mental or physical conditions, including age.
This type of community is a helpful and comfy care option for persons 65 years and above, however nursing homes will frequently admit persons 55 and older which is uncommon for other senior care types. A large number of occupants are bachelors or widows with smaller social support groups, and almost fifty percent of nursing home residents are older than the age of 85. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to get proper medical care, participate in activities, get proper privacy, property, and living arrangements, and make complaints. The most frequent mental disease experienced by residents of nursing homes is dementia, which can hinder their memory recall, and their sense of familiarity, and decision making capacities. Examples of amenities and services offered at nursing homes might include personal care (including dressing, bathing, and toilet assistance), help with legal questions, rehabilitation needed due to injury, disability, or illness, and patient and caregiver education. Some services come at an extra cost which can include flowers and plants, a private room, unless medically needed, and special care services not included in the community’s Medicaid payment.
