We were referred to Providence by an ER case manager for my 90 year old dad to go to for 1-2 weeks to get over an episode of diarrhea. The front entrance looked great but the room for my dad was not cleaned in advance. There was broken furniture and drywall with holes in it. But the worst thing was the bathroom which was incredibly dirty. The toliet was plugged and the handyman came twice with a plunger and it didn't work and he left he water that was spilt on the floor. The safety handles for the toliet were rusted. The garbage can was overflowing. The nurse said that whole side of the building had plugged toliets from residents putting wet wipes in. The sandwich had a fly on it. Do not put your loved one here. The wheel chair had a stained pad. The website is deceiving. The good point was the nurse was very nice. Too bad the environment was so bad.
