Located in the heart of Chicagoland just off the Lake Michigan shoreline, The Danish Home is a beautiful boutique assisted living community. The home is an elegant brick building with an interior designed to be “hygge,” a Danish word meaning cozy and comfortable. The home’s elegant apartments feature contemporary decor and en suite bathrooms.

Community members enjoy an array of services for worry-free retirement living. Maintenance, cleaning, and linen services are offered regularly, and residents can choose to do their own laundry or let the staff take care of it. The home features an on-site salon and a fitness center. The community’s professional culinary staff offer a variety of delicious menu items, with accommodations for any diet or palate.

The Danish Home offers a continuum of care so that community members can live as independently as they like, but receive professional care for any needs that arise. The home’s round-the-clock nursing staff are able to offer memory care, assistance with activities of daily living, and more.
