N/a when it comes to the meals and dining. Dad is in independent living apartment so makes own meals. The activities are outstanding. Tons of activities for the residents to participate in. The value for cost was more than what we originally planned to spend. But after being there and experiencing all they have to offer I feel it is well worth it. My dad really likes it there. It was a true blessing from God that we went there. Very friendly and helpful people.

Complete guide to independent living

Brookfield, Wisconsin

Independent Living

An Independent Living Community provides residents the chance to continue to live an active lifestyle while assuring their basic needs have been fulfilled. You or your loved one may continue to use their free time as they desire while their meals are cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are taken care of by staff, and recreational activities are scheduled and organized. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering opportunities to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies vary between communities, a number of residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always enlist the services of independent health care professionalls. There are a variety of advantages and expenses to consider when selecting an independent living community. It is important to learn if these amenities are included in the care plan: initial assessment fee, cable TV, field trips, laundry, parking, private phone, housekeeping, and Waiting list deposit. The conveniences that pertain to independent living include golf course, community activities, fitness center & swimming pool, concierge services, security guards, laundry service, healthcare center, and game/TV room.
