Heartis Village of Brookfield

I have already recommend it to others. It has been exactly what my mom has needed in terms of care and so much more that they offer.

As with many facilities, the good workers are truly amazing, but weekends & shift changes leave them understaffed. The temps are often cranky or lazy. For well over $700/month, I don't appreciate it when it takes 45 minutes for someone to come to her room. Last week, one worker told my mom to urinate in her diaper. Or sometimes, a worker will run in, tell my mom she'll be right back, and then forgets. But there are so many excellent works who actually befriend my mom. She's always so excited to tell me stories.

I've recommended to friends that they should look into Heartis due to the fact that everyone there treats my dad like a human being, with dignity.

Definitely recommend. Takes a bit to figure how things are done and who to talk to get fixes( they could do a little better orientation for family). Place is very beautiful, bright and alive feeling. Vaulted ceilings and fireplaces. Makes the residence feel upscale and not depressing.

Housekeeping is fine. I feel it's the transition that has been lacking. My loved one has been at Heartis Village for nearly 2 months and her meds still aren't sorted out. Also, we haven't had the promised 30-day care plan meeting. So much doesn't happen unless we push to make it happen.

They have great activities for the residents and families. Food is ok The communication with the staff and nurse on my mom's care is lacking and hard. They are short staffed like a lot of places are so we do a lot of the care with my mom but charge a lot of money each month. The place for the most part is clean

For the most part food is pretty good . Housekeeping is always present and my husbands room especially the bathroom was cleaned on a regular basis. Garbage removed as well. Caregivers are attentive to resident needs and are very kind as well. Manager of memory care unit is seen on the unit daily and is very approachable. Cost is high but there are never surprise charges added on. It is worth every penny.

Everyone there knows my Dad. I love that. From the top to the bottom. From the kitchen to the director. I would recommend this facility to others.

My mother has been at Heartis since, Jan 2023. Her care has been phenomenal! Leanne in Marketing was my first contact with Heartis Brookfield. She took time aside from my tour to talk to me and share her personal experience and understanding of the transition for my mother. The Generations Manager [name removed] truly LOVES her residents and makes sure ALL caregivers provide excellent care. [name removed] knows my mom's history and updates me often. [name removed] considers the residents as family and provides any care needed along with her role as manager. Never hesitates to help! She takes the time to sit and talk with my mom. They all know me by first name and I am always welcomed. I toured 8 memory care facilities prior to coming to Heartis Brookfield. None compare to the cleanliness, care, and compassion. Even when she was hospitalized staff came to visit. They go above and beyond not because they have to, but because they love what they do. My husband has been a resident since May 2023. Prior to coming to Heartis Village, he resided at a different memory care unit for 9 mo. and were so turned off by the care or should I say lack of care. I decided to look for a better facility for my husband. I toured 3 and decided on Heartis. I found the executive administrators to be friendly , kind, empathetic, transparent and very professional. The staff is attentive, very caring, so kind to their residents. All residents are treated with respect. I see hugs and an occasional kiss given to residents. I also want to mention the activities people and the amazing job they do to keep the residents active and involved. The meals are amazing, and the Chef comes out to ask the residents if they enjoyed their meal. And thanks to Maintenance and housekeeping everything is well maintained and clean. I am so pleased and happy that I found Heartis Village for my dear husband of 45 years.

Today's tour was absolutely tip-top. Heartis looks beautiful and the staff people we happened to encounter all seemed pleasant, upbeat, and all that a resident could hope to have in their staff. Because we have no nearby family, if we have any sense that either one (or both) of us needs assistance, I know exactly whom I am coming to see. Thank you for the big-time investment you made and again, thanks to you, I now feel we can get nice care when the day comes.

We have been so pleased with our experience at Heartis Village - Brookfield. They have provided a true community for our mom (and peace of mind for us), knowing she is truly cared for and respected by the staff. The team provides so many opportunities for the residents to gather and participate in activities and to our delight - our mom participates with enthusiasm! I highly recommend this loving community.

I assisted a friend to find emergency placement/respite when she was unable to be by herself and in-home care was unable to meet her 24 hour/day care needs. I toured one day, and they helped placement occur the very next day. This quick turn around is challenging, but the Heartis Team stepped up to assess and assist with very timely coordination and admission. While she was only planning to stay a couple weeks, she decided she was comfortable, and there were many things she would no longer need to worry about if she lived at Heartis. She is moving to her permanent one-bedroom apartment and bringing everything she wants from her house to make her Heartis HOME next week. She has also developed a few new friends .. another bonus! No Place is Perfect, but Heartis has come close.

Our dad moved in [date removed]. Although we were unsure what to expect, the whole experience turned out to be more than we ever expected.The staff has been so good in their level of care and compassion, especially [name removed]. The communication has been very thorough and has helped us guide our way through this journey. We are all very happy with the choice we made to move into Heartis.

Our mom receives great care from [name removed] and her staff in Generations (memory care) at Heartis Brookfield. They treat mom with compassion and respect. Kudos to [name removed] [name removed] [name removed] [name removed] name removed] [name removed] and [name removed] . They are a 5-star team.

After touring several memory care facilities, my sister and I moved our mom to Heartis in Brookfield a little over a year ago. We were very apprehensive because mom was going from independent senior living to Heartis Generations memory care neighborhood, and we only wanted what was best for mom. We have no regrets!! Heartis has so much to offer!! Mom is thriving and participates in whatever she can. [name removed] and the staff are exceptional! If you’re doubtful in choosing Heartis, schedule a tour with [name removed] (by the way, she’s great too!) YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED!!! The staff at Heartis Village of Brookfield go over and above for their residents. I would and already have recommended this facility to others.

My loved one really likes it! Although since they're adding so many new residents, they seem to be understaffed now. Hopefully they will add more soon! My loved one loves the activities and how everyone gathers for meals, and has a nice group of new friends!
