Heartis Village of Brookfield

I visited five memory care facilities. I’ve confirmed I made the right decision to place her there, and have come to realize that the staff is the most important reason in this case. Every single person I’ve encountered, from the director of the facility to the people cleaning and serving meals, has been friendly and helpful. More importantly, they all seem to genuinely care about the residents, treating them more like family than like someone they are forced to care for. Staff all know every resident’s name and all treat residents very well. Heck, a lot of the staff even know my name and which resident I’m associated with. I have yet to encounter a single instance of a staff member having a less than pleasant-and helpful attitude. Several staff members have expressed to me that they love their jobs. Clearly, Heartis goes to great lengths when vetting potential employees. If it is time to place your loved one in an assisted living or memory care facility, I highly recommend Heartis!

We moved our folks into Heartis a few months ago, and we are very happy we did. The staff are professional, compassionate and cheerful. They are eager to accommodate our wishes quickly. This is true…… beginning with the receptionist....to the dining personnel.... to the managers. In particular, we are so grateful that we had [name removed] hold our hand from start to finish. She made everything happen quickly and carefully, and she tied all the loose ends for us along the way! Transitioning parents from independence to assisted living is not an easy feat, but thanks to [name removed] knowledge and experience to guide us along - we made it! Heartis is awesome!

My husband and I moved into Heartis Seniors Living in [date removed] and it was the best decision we ever made. The amenities are great. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Whenever; you need help they come right away and not just for emergencies but even for little things you need help with. The food is really good. They have activities every day and they do shopping outings as well as entertainment outings and restaurant outings. The activity director is always open to suggestions. They have many options you can take advantage of such as a beauty salon, physical and/or occupational therapy, a room where you can have family gatherings, a gym for exercising, a library, a theater where they show movies and even Green Bay Packers games. We are actually happier here than we were at home!

I wanted to let [name removed]and the staff at Heartis know that we thoroughly appreciate everything you have done for [name removed] and our entire family. Your ability to quickly access my Mother In Law and within days allow us to move her into your facility for care was absolutely amazing. You and your staff did whatever it took to ensure she was comfortable. Unbeknownst to us, did we know she was in need of immediate Hospice care, again which you so quickly were able to set up for her. In addition, it was comforting to know my Father In Law was able to move in shortly after so he could be taken care of during these very critical times. Thank you for everything!

Heartis is an excellent facility. I feel my Mom is safe and well looked after. She gets 3 well balanced meals a day plus snacks anytime she wants. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. Heartis has many activities that are fun and interacting. They have a bus that takes them on outings. We signed her up with Bluestone and the doctor comes to see her. I especially love this feature. Mom really loves Mondays because she gets her fingernails cut, filed and polished for free. They have their own in house hair salon 3 days a week including perms. My Mom enjoys playing BINGO twice a week and winning prizes. I have enjoyed getting to know the staff and residents.

Heartis Village of Brookfield was an excellent place for my mom. A beautiful building, and very caring staff, who always answered any questions and/or concerns we had. Very satisfied with the Heartis.

I would say to not go to this community. This community is not well managed. The meals or terrible and it just seems like so much goes wrong here everyday. My loved one stated that she did not get the correct medication and this has happen a few times. It just seems like they cant get things together. The cleaning is starting to get better but at first it was not going well.

I was very pleased with our experience at Heartis Village. They were the only ones who did respite care for a couple of weeks in the area which is why we went with them. We were very impressed with the room sizes, I had gone to a couple other places and this was the best. The rooms here had refrigerators, microwaves, etc. and other places did not have that. The facility is newer looking and just beautiful and very appealing. She did not participate but there was a ton of different activities provided. Overall it was a good experience and she will be going back soon for a another short stay. I would have no problem recommending them to others.

My mom recently moved into Heartis Senior Living and it is a breath of fresh air. Everyone is so kind, she absolutely loves it! The atmosphere, the food, the staff and all the comforts of home are what you will find at Heartis. I am so grateful to know that she is taken care of 24/7! Thank you Heartis Team!

The staff has been wonderful to work with - especially during these challenging times of COVID. They have done everything possible to make my aunt comfortable and her experience as positive as possible. Thank you Heartis!

I cannot thank or praise the core staff at Heartis enough! Their friendliness, caring, willingness to help and their level of professionalism in these very challenging times has been amazing!!!. My parents were blessed to be accepted as residents of Heartis Brookfield Senior Living at the tail end of [date removed] Unfortunately, Mom (93) passed away [date removed] from heart issues. This left my Dad (97) without his lifelong wife of 73 years. I have worked in many assisted living environments and nursing homes. At Heartis I have repeatedly witnessed core staff going beyond expectations in caring for my father. They always do this with pleasant attitudes and smiles. Rest assured, they have all done remarkable well at caring for residents and their families under the most stressful circumstances imaginable. Thank you, Heartis staff, from the bottom of my heart!!!! [date removed]

I feel like in the beginning before we moved in they were prompt at getting back to me and the facility was beautiful, I only had great things to say about them. But when I moved her here, the first day she called for help to use the bathroom and no one came to help her, her call button did not work. At meal times they were sat there an hour before they would even get water. We also had to use their pharmacy and it was a lot more expensive than ours we were using. It was just not organized at all and there is no follow through from the staff. We were not pleased with our experience here.

The employees are very nice and very accommodating. The community is short staffed currently and that is being seen in the care the residents receive. The administration team isn't visible to the family and they don't return calls or emails. There are times the community has run out of food supplies due to being short staffed.

The facility was very nice and everyone I met was very friendly. The apartments I saw were new and modern. [name removed] showed me a room on the first floor that would be close to therapy and the cafe. I wasn't excited that it overlooked the parking lot. When I talked to my dad he is more interested in about a 300 sq.ft. studio. I like that the location is close to his doctors. My big concern is that my dad needs so much care that he may not qualify. My visit was short and have a virtual visit scheduled for [date removed] so other family members can see.

We have had a great experience with Heartis Village of Brookfield. We chose this facility because they had availability quickly when we needed it and it was brand new. I could not be happier, she is well cared for, fed, and is participating in activities. I would highly recommend to others looking.

This community is brand new and very nice, but if you are looking for assisted living, look elsewhere. The rooms and facilities are not set up for anyone who needs any kind of additional assistance. In our tours, staff was non-existent and there were residents in the dining room actually clanging on their glasses to get service. We did go through the entire process of having our father become a resident, but last minute were turned down for an issue that truly wasn't an issue. This left us scrambling to find another place. In the end, it turned out to be a blessing. We found a wonderful Assisted Living community, which had no issues with the assessment of our father and were very welcoming and a great fit for him. We were very thankful we didn’t end up at Heartis.
