You are able to schedule times to eat with your loved ones and the meals look great and we have heard nothing but good things. Visiting is easy and the staff are all super helpful and great with communication and providing updates to us since we do not live close. We have been very pleased with our experience at Villas of HollyBrook.

In some situations, communities may provide continuing care, hospice, or Alzheimer’s care. In Illinois, the annual median cost for an assisted living community is around $50,040 . Illinois has specific standards associated with this type of community. The Illinois Department of Public Health governs this community type. Staff members receive education in a variety of areas. These areas include hygiene, confidentiality, neglect prevention, and philosophy and goals. This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include communities must provide three daily meals. The maximum occupancy is 1 residents per room. The minimum number of residents for this community type is 3. This type of community is required to have a staff member on duty 24 hours a day. There must be one bath or shower for every residents and one toilet for every 1 residents. Before a resident is accepted, they must go through a service plan screening to make sure their needs are going to be met. This screening includes a number of areas of interest such as evaluation of a prospective resident’s cognitive condition, assessment must be updated by a physician annually or upon a significant change in condition, provider must ensure that the resident and the resident’s representative, if any, are informed of the potential consequences of activities that the provider considers to pose risks to health and/or safety, and evaluation of a prospective resident’s psychosocial condition. Public assistance is available through A Medicaid 1915(c) waiver called the Supported Living Program and a 1915(b) waiver called the Managed Long-Term Services and Supports program. This type of community is required to offer a number of services. These include emergency response systems, medication administration, assistance with activities of daily living, and laundry. This community type has a number of provisions pertaining to medication assistance. These provisions include supervision of self-administered medications, documenting whether or not the resident took the medication, and reading the medication label to residents.
