I would never recommend this place to anyone’s family. The care staff give to their residents is awful. The staff sitting on their phones and doesn’t pay attention to anything they need. The staff when residents would ask for more food get told no we don’t give out more. The caregivers were never properly trained so nothing was done right. Residents sit in their own filth because they refuse to clean them. Staff their never greet you when you walk into memory care. The old director never was at work she could never answer questions when she was there. On multiple occasions I watched staff fight. The activities on both sides were terrible. They never was never anything to do for them other than a tv. The activities director would never help do the activities. So the residents would just sit and stare at it not knowing what to do. The management of the building is awful never anyone to give you the answer to your questions. Addington is a terrible place to send your love ones.

[name removed], who is the in the sales of the facility, was awesome. Very friendly and talked very highly of the facility. She was good at her job along with [name removed], who takes care of implementing the contract. [name removed], the director, was nice as well. You couldn't find a nicer and more smiley receptionist who greets everyone and knows everything about the facility. The Director of Nursing, [name removed], never responded to emails or phone calls. We can only speak to the Memory Care side, which we weren't happy with for the most part and removed my mother-in-law after 2.5 weeks.

Addington place did do anything they promised. They never showered my dad until we asked them each week. Wednesday was supposed to be his shower and laundry day. Neither was ever done. They promised activity for him. They never did anything. The staff spent all their time sitting around on their phones. Trash was not taken out, beds were not made as promised. There was never a supervisor present. The facility manager never got out of her office. We’ve moved out already to another place. The difference is night and day. Three other families have moved out around the same time we did. They talk a big game to get you in and then nothing. I do not recommend!

Adding Place of Shiloh is a nice place, clean facility, staff generally pretty nice. Sometimes the staff airs their differences in front of the residents and their visitors. They could improve on their food by providing higher quality ingredients.

The staff are not well trained to handle patients or their family. My husband was not there longer than a month. I was very upset. I moved him. I have heard they have had other problems and are closing. I would not recommend them, based on my experience.

Overall the patient staff at Addington Place of Shiloh was very friendly and provided great care. We were very upfront with the anticipated needs of our loved one, unfortunately the administration backed off of their initial promises and rather abruptly kicked out our loved one. Very disappointing end to our time there.

The staff are all very friendly and kind. My mother became friends with the majority of them. They provided the support to make her time there enjoyable. They even worked with us on transportation to and from off site therapy. Very clean, with many activities for the residents. An excellent place to help take care of your loved ones. I would definitely recommend.

Overall, we are very happy. I would love better communication though. We struggled with getting info on his care plan (pt and ot) at the beginning. Still having trouble getting answers about billing.

Everyone at Addington Place of Shiloh is extremely kind, and we feel confident our mother is taken care of. They make sure to get her out of her room, and everything is always clean and inviting.

Most of the nursing and care staff was very good, Administration was not. We had asked about the availability of a Hoyer Lift and were told by our referral contact and by the Addington Place Admissions Coordinator that one could be provided. Come to find out, per the Director of Nursing, a Hoyer Lift was not offered/available for our loved one. It was very frustrating.

When the person who was supposed to give us our scheduled tour was unable to do so, they enlisted a member of housekeeping to give us the tour, which was weird for me.
Our family had an in person tour and we thought the tour was an excellent experience, it is a very nice community but overall it came down to price and this was just a little to expensive for us.
We chose Addington Place mainly because of the fair value for the money. I also work in healthcare in an emergency room and I see how patients come in from many different places, so I kept that in mind when I was looking as well. The director [name removed] is outstanding. You can call her personal cell phone and she always calls back. When you walk in she makes it a point to come say hi to you. We had multiple conversations before even placing mom here and she was so pleasant and willing to answer any questions that we had. I would absolutely recommend Addington Place of Shiloh to others.

My loved one is diabetic, and needs insulin. There is no problem with the food, but there is no proper diet for my loved one. The staff has been friendly. They have afternoon activities. It's better now, than it was but I am currently looking into other places.

I have someone there and want to speak to mgmt or someone who could assist me with difficulties but lines are usually unavailable. I would greatly appreciate a contact person!

We thought the facility was fine overall, and our tour went well. My loved one felt the rooms were too small for her though, and the facility as a whole just didn't seem as new and open and big in its layout as the community she chose.

A Place for Mom has scored Addington Place of Shiloh 7.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
