My parents are very happy and comfortable at the Hoffman community. The place is clean and well maintained. Everyone there is so nice, from the residents to the staff members. The food is good and they have so many activities.
They were very friendly and caring-my father enjoyed it while he was there!!! Always willing to answer any questions I had!! We have a great experience there
I'm mostly happy with the facility. My mom enjoys the activities, & the staff are all very nice & friendly. The 2 negatives are the food has to be purchased from 1 supplier & the food is very bland & tasteless. The soups have little in them & my mom is used to the very chunky loaded with vegetables, meat & pasta & flavor that I cook. I've eaten there a couple times & even the fresh made Belgian waffles were a disappointment. Residents have spoken to chef in group meetings, but they said they can't make changes. The other negative is I've needed to get in to see my mom for emergencies & overnight desk person wasn't readily available to open locked doors. That is not acceptable. Overall tho, my mom is happy, making friends & enjoying the activities.

A nursing home is a community that houses two or more seniors who are not related by blood or by marriage to the administrator. A nursing home community provides its residents with 24-hour care administered by registered nurses. These caregivers provide health related services for seniors who cannot properly take care of themselves because of mental or physical conditions, including age.

A large number of inhabitants tend to be bachelors or widows who have less social support, and about fifty percent of nursing home residents are over 85 years old.
