Middlewoods of Farmington is a wonderful , warm and caring place with exceptional staff whose priority is the comfort of residents . It is a relatively small place so everyone feels at home but also offers a variety of activities to cater to different interests. As a family member, I always felt informed as to my loved one’s care and had multiple opportunities to join my sister in various activities. I would highly recommend Middlewoods of Farmington over any of the big corporate senior residence settings!

We chose Middlewoods of Farmington because of the attitude of the staff, the appearance of the facility, nd the selections that they had for food. It definitely felt the most friendly and warm out of others that we looked into. The apartments are a little smaller than some others that we looked at, but they are very nice. I would rate them higher than a 5 in most categories. I would absolutely recommend them to others.

The first time I visited this facility I thought the apartments were too small. But 'something' kept making me come back. What was it. I finally recognized that the residents, the staff, the facility itself were so very caring and warm, and involved in many different activities. All together they were inviting me into their home. I'm now living here and would invite you into my home!
I have been a resident (independent) for 17 1/12 years. The community is just the right size (# of residents). The staff is welcoming and friendly, although I do not need care services, it's important to know it 's available. A resident can be as involved in the community as they whish to be. I Recommend MW!

My loved one has been at MOF for 2.5 yrs. The facility made it through the pandemic relatively Covid-free, with a few exceptions by outside providers who were quickly removed from the premises. The residents were always safe. The leadership staff implemented measures that were/are strictly followed thus keeping the community safe. Communication from [name removed], Exec Dir is open, honest and sincere. Great coordination by leadership to vax/boost x2 all residents/staff. Residents/families are encouraged to express concerns that are addressed quickly and resolved to the residents’ satisfaction. Requests for food or maintenance issues are quickly resolved with a smile. Enrichment programs are in abundance; there are plenty opportunities for residents who chose to stay engaged. MOF is “home” to the residents - the caring, compassionate, highly skilled and competent leadership and staff strive to delight every resident with every encounter, and they succeed. I highly recommend MOF and I have.

My 89 year old mother has lived at Middlewoods of Farmington for 6 months and we are very thankful. The staff is caring and friendly. Fellow residents are wonderful. Moving there has been the BEST thing for my mom. She was living alone and benefits greatly from a safe, caring environment with socialization. Covid has been challenging everywhere, but Middlewoods has handled it exceptionally well. By the way, my mom really likes the food too. I spent a long time researching places for my mom. We could not be happier with the choice. Middlewoods is a warm, caring community. A home run for my mom and our family!

My dad loves Middlewoods of Farmington, his assisted living home for nearly three years. He describes it as "easy living" rather than assisted living. The staff is friendly, and they provide lovely care for my dad and other residents. The cost is reasonable. He stays very busy with the many activities available, which includes exercise classes, Wii bowling, painting classes, and bell ringing choir. He also enjoys playing cards with his friends, and there are frequent happy hours and other social events.

The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Being a smaller community it's easy to get to know other residents. Transportation is provided for medical appointments, errands and all kinds of outings. See for yourself or a loved one - come and take a tour.

August 10, 2016Thank you for your comments! Our staff do strive to be the best and handle any issues should they come up. Middlewoods of Farmington is everything we wanted and more. The building is lovely to begin with and the current renovations will make it even more attractive. The staff takes a personal interest in every resident and they go above and beyond to look out for everyone. The attentive care services have given us a much needed peace of mind. The on and off site activities are extensive for a facility this size, and what's interesting is the high degree of participation we have noticed. It is also noteworthy how much input the residents have regarding food and other services. And speaking of food, we would give 5 stars to the food, for which you do not show as a separate category for rating purposes. The variety and quality are wonderful, as is the personal attention of the wait staff.

A Place for Mom has scored Middlewoods of Farmington 9.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
