The Healthcare Resort of Plano

This is a gorgeous but mellow place with caring staff members. I had surgery and my needs were complex and the nursing team was able to make me feel safe and their expertise to hospital like procedures kept me worry free. I was discharged home with their outpatient therapy. Their therapy is top notch. The best therapy team you'll find anywhere. The therapy gym is clean. I toured upstairs too before being discharged. I toured a couple of model rooms and they are gorgeous. Some bigger than others but beautiful. Food is provided at the assisted living. It was very impressive to see that the therapy team work with the residents in the assisted living patients too. The breakdown was good and I knew when my wound doctor came and the infectious disease, they had pain management doctor coming in too. Therapy used dry needling to ease my pain. As i said my case was complex, they had a machine in therapy that helped me deal with incontinence. Thank you health care of Plano for a job well done

There have been some maintenance issues; but it appears to be under control. [name removed] is nice and usually responds quickly. It’s independent but my Dad has an agency caregiver and a nurse that come to him there.

Complete guide to independent living

Gainesville, Texas

Independent Living

For seniors who wish to live primarily without assistance but would like the assistance of having housekeeping handled by professionalls, an Independent Living Community may be the perfect fit. You or your loved one may live their lives as they wish while their food is prepared by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and social activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Typically consisting of a private living space and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and more time can be spent with them with the basic maintenance of daily tasks out of the way. While policies differ between communities, many residences allow pets as well. If residents decide they would like to enlist the services of private medical professionalls, they may always do so. There are an assortment of costs and advantages to balance when choosing an independent living community. It is important to determine if these amenities are included in your plan: housekeeping, cable TV, private phone, field trips, initial assessment fee, wellness program, internet access, and Waiting list deposit. The benefits that pertain to independent living include beauty salon & barber shop, healthcare center, fitness center & swimming pool, security guards, laundry service, game/TV room, golf course, and restaurant-style dining hall.
