Juniper Village at Lebanon
5.0

Juniper Village is very clean, sometimes with communities and caring for elderly residents there may be unpleasant odor, but not that this community. The staff are very friendly, they usually talk to you as you walking around, call you by name and even talk about things your loved one is getting involved in. Our loved one is very happy and satisfied with the meals. Our loved one is diabetic, and at their previous community all they served was pasta and potatoes, but here they are serving fresh vegetables and fruit every day. Our loved one grew up in the country, and Juniper Village has a beautiful court yard with flowers, trees, benches and places to walk around. Also, everything is all on one level.

Masonic Village is an avery beautiful place to live. It has numerous and varied activities. The effort that they made to keep us safe during the Covid -19 pandemic was beyond what most of us expected. They go to extremes to keep us safe and comfortable.

Complete guide to independent living

Landisville, Pennsylvania

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities offer seniors an equilibrium between an independent lifestyle and not having to concern themselves with the basic tasks of housekeeping and responsibilities. Daily needs such as housekeeping and meal planning are accounted for, which permits residents more opportunities to live active lives as they desire. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and backgrounds. Typically consisting of a private living area and a full kitchen, these communities offer homes with many of the amenities of apartment life but without the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and more time can be spent with them with the basic maintenance of daily chores out of the way. While policies vary between communities, many residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing support is desired, residents may always utilize the services of private caregivers. There are a number of benefits and expenditures to keep in mind while determining an independent living community. It is important to learn if these services are included in the service plan: initial assessment fee, cable TV, wellness program, transportation, internet access, private phone, meals, and housekeeping. The luxuries associated with independent living include restaurant-style dining hall, laundry service, concierge services, transportation, private rental hall, golf course, community activities, and game/TV room.
