White Sands, a CCRC in La Jolla, CA
5.0

White Sands facility has everything from independent living to skilled nursing. They have a lot of activities to offer, it is in a really beautiful location. We could not be happier with our decision, we know our mother is safe there. The food is excellent with a wide range of choices. The rooms are very nice and adequate, they have many options to choose from. Our loved one has a beautiful view.

Novellus Clairemont in San Diego, CA
4.0

My loved one has recently made the move into this community and so far I have no complaints of how things had been going for him. He has had a few health problems but other than that the experience has been pleasant for him. The staff have done a great job at staying organized in his care plan and are always attentive to his needs. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone interested.

Paradise Village in National City, CA

The staff at Paradise Village are very responsive and helpful when needed. I would highly recommend this facility to others looking.

Independent Living

For many seniors, the financial burden of home ownership and the upkeep of daily tasks and chores might deter them from an independent lifestyle. Independent Living Communities provide a convenient alternative to this situation. Occupants may continue to use their free time as they desire while their meals are cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and recreational activities are scheduled and organized. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Within the individual units, residents have access to a private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a companion if they prefer. While policies differ between communities, a number of residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services may always be arranged for with private care providers as desired. There are a variety of expenses and advantages to keep in mind when deciding on an independent living community.
