Love my apartment! Most residents are wonderful people, have made lots of nice friends. Food is great. I love that I'm surrounded with people that are fun and you can have conversations with them. I love that I no longer have to cook or clean. I still drive and am able to park my car in gated underground parking. Great place!
I'm very happy with the place, and I've already referred a couple of people to them. I like the fact that it has a keypad door so people can't just wander in. You have to know somebody to be able to get into the apartment area. I love the staff. My parents are very picky eaters, and they actually like the food. I like the fact that there's an a la carte menu they can order from, and the kitchen is open all throughout the day, which accommodates different preferences for meal times. I like the variety of activities they offer. We've had a couple of maintenance issues. My parents' heating/air conditioning unit is difficult to understand how to operate, and we've asked numerous times for it to be replaced, but they've not done that yet. Also, they have a leaky faucet that hasn't been fixed for a month or so. But that's because they lost their maintenance person.
They are short staffed at this time so sometimes her meals are cold and she has to send them back. Also it does not seem like they are cleaning deep enough due to the lack of workers. They do make sure that my loved ones room is clean however the common areas are not so up kept. The staff have been great they are really good. My loved one loves the chair yoga and the water aerobics and she really loves these activities.
