I would say that Wellington is a very nice, quiet, and clean place to live. The meals are above average, maintenance services are great, and I love the staff.
The staff was very nice, but there seemed to be a lot of turnover. I would usually be the one to initiate communication, but they would let me know if she fell. Housekeeping couldn't keep Mom's clothes together. She had other people's clothes, at times. Her bathroom didn't smell good. When hospice was called in, her level of care improved.
I have heard that this is a great place for my mom. So, I researched and researched for places and always came back to the Alois. They seem to be most qualified and ideal. Highly recommend this place to friends and family.

Nursing homes, also called skilled nursing facilities, provide long-term care for seniors with significant physical or mental health conditions, and short-term care to people recovering from an injury or hospital stay. Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home offers lodging to at least two individuals who are not related by marriage or by blood to the administrator. A nursing home community provides its residents with 24-hour care administered by registered nurses. These nurses offer care for those who are unable to properly take care of themselves due to mental or physical conditions, including age.
This type of community is a familiar and comfortable care option for individuals 65 years and above, however nursing homes will routinely take in persons 55 and greater which is uncommon for other senior care types. A significant amount of residents are bachelors or widows who have circles of support, and almost fifty percent of nursing home residents are over 85 years old. A significant portion of nursing home residents are individuals who have incontinence issues, require assistance with daily tasks such as getting dressed, experience difficulty with hearing and vision, or have mental or physical disabilities. Nursing homes are required to provide pharmaceutical services, room and bed maintenance services, emergency dental services, and routine personal hygiene items to residents. Examples of amenities and services offered at nursing homes might include skilled nursing or medical care, adult day health care (which offers nursing and therapy) , care coordination and case management, and home care (like cooking, cleaning, or help with other daily activities).
