I was happy to see such happy and friendly folks throughout our experience at Concord. Literally our first visit and we were approached by numerous residents offering friendly tips and warm greetings. Staff and Management are friendly, competent and helpful in every way. It’s a lively and vibrant atmosphere. The piano playing in the great room is so fabulous. The living rooms on the mezzanine with beautiful fireplace and decor are delightful. I really cannot say enough good things about it.... Read more

My brother went to see Concord Place and saw the promise of it and the value for the money is good. He has raved about everything here is and is very happy. They go around and knock on everyone's door around 10am and ask how they are doing and feeling that day, so they are really good about checking out everyone. They also have a floor dedicated to veterans. They have a lot of perks and it is close to Heinz veterans hospital and they are able to able to transport him to and form appointments. I would definitely recommend them to others.

This is a very friendly community and there is a lot there for the people in the community to do. This is a very nice community and if something needs to be addressed they jump right on it and get it taken care of. They have activities like going out on the bus to go to stores. They also have virtual video games for the residents to do, art, live entertainment and more for the residents to enjoy.

We had a terrible experience with our tour here. They had no covid protocols at all, we had to wear masks during the tour but the employee showing us around did not. The staff were not warm or welcoming, in fact they were rude at times. They did not know any of the residents by name because they said they had too many of them. The location is not great either, it is off of an expressway and by and industrial park, so everything is concrete. There is no outdoor area for the residents to enjoy. The guy showing us around was nice and really trying, but it was not a good experience.
Read MoreWe chose Concord Place because they were close in the neighborhood and the value for the money was right for him. The apartment sizes at the facility are pretty spacious and perfect for what he needed. They do answer all of your questions and are available when you need them, you can call any time of day. It has been a wonderful experience and I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

The interior hallways are due for an updated and some modernization, but everything seems pretty clean otherwise. We thought the business side of things were very professional and they were very nice. When we moved in they made our loved one feel comfortable and were very flexible with our schedules which we appreciated.

I would not put my enemy here. This was a terrible place. The tour was fine and they say that there are renovations happening. However, it looked like a nursing home vs apartment living. They needed some updates for sure.

Because of covid things are pretty much locked down so it is hard to asses the facility at this point. We chose Concord place at the time due to the familiar location and the fact that they have different levels of care, so she can upgrade and stay here and we will not have to move her.

Our loved one really enjoys the food at the community, even though she does not always participate in the activities we do know they offer a good amount. Our loved one really enjoys that she can have her cat there, and we enjoy that they provide a laundry service as well as a service for her medication to make sure she gets everything she needs,

They're really good here . The food is outstanding. The staff is great. They take good care of you, and whatever you ask for they make sure you get. You have pretty much free run around here. It's a big campus, and you can walk all around. We're 97% vaccinated, so that's pretty good. Activities and such have been a bit slower with Covid, but otherwise are great.

Due to covid the activities have been very limited, but we do think they are doing their best with these circumstances, and our loved one is thrilled with the meals the provide. The visitation policy has been difficult we have no been able to see our loved one for a few months, but they have started vaccinating the residents.

The community is too big and they have issues with maintaining the building and the elevators are always broken. They are like a used car salesman, they are just about getting people in the community and then really don't care. Some of the care services were not being done. If you are 100% competent and mobile then this community would work if not I would not recommend it.
Read MoreMy loved one is on the VA floor. This floor has extra assistance and benefits compared to other parts of the community. During the holidays there was a lack of activities and meals were horrible. The meals consisted of sandwiches and the residents had to go back to their rooms to eat.

The Concord community was great, we had no complaints. Unfortunately due to our loved ones health she had to be taken out and moved to another facility. The rooms were very nice and we would definitely recommend this community.
I looked at quite a few places and we chose Concord Place because at the time it was the most economical and it was close to where I live. The apartment sizes here are average compared to others we saw. I have eaten here and the food is good. It is a better than average community and I would recommend.

We chose Concord place mostly because of the affordability. The apartment sizes here are spacious, she is in a studio. She always says she likes the food. The best part about the community is that the staff are very friendly, the manager seems to know everyone by name. I would recommend it.

A Place for Mom has scored Concord Place 9.1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
