I found Park Place after 12 years of searching. My wife and I wanted to sign up after hearing a wonderful presentation given by the community. You won't find a better place than this. This is an Amazing Place for us. There are car services for doctor appointments, or shopping. They provide live entertainment from time to time. The dining room staff are outstanding and so is the food.

My mother lives in the independent living portion of Park Place. She is very happy there. Her first year - before COVID restrictions - she participated in activities and exercise classes, and was excited to tell us about it, and to meet her new neighbors when we would visit. The community is friendly and welcoming. The staff are friendly, caring and professional. Her room is large and bright and she has made it her own. She can cook her own food, but enjoys the provided food so much that she doesn’t do much of that anymore. During the COVID restrictions, I have been impressed by their care to keep the community safe while maximizing the independence and openness of the facility - changing the restrictions as the local case count changes to safely allow some visitors, and in-person activities/classes. Thanks so much for a great place for my mom to live!

Park Place is a wonderful place for your mom. My mom moved in about 7 years ago and without Park Place staff and management she would not enjoy the quality of life she has now. They have worked hard to keep the building Covid free. Without Park Place my mom would need a care giver but with the staff and friends she can live independently and enjoy her life. Park Place was the smartest move we made as a family and I highly recommend this facility.

Don't be fooled!!! . When you visit the place it looks beautiful and they promise the world. The staff turns over on a weekly basis. Our parents moved from independent to assisted living and the care was so terrible our mother almost died. Do not listen to their lies. This place is worse than Cook County. Not to mention the fees are outrageous. Please be ware don't allow your loved ones to live in this place. You will regret it the next day!!

Looked at this for mom but the price is outrageously expensive. Sad that it costs so much. She's able to live on her own but she wanted to live in a community that catered to her age group.

Response from Park Place of Elmhurst
April 10, 2018Tricia, while we’re disappointed to receive your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to reach out. As you continue your search, we think you’ll find our pricing structure to be comparable to the industry as a whole. We’re proud of all the services and amenities that help to make our community feel like home for our residents. We wish you and your mother all of the best in your search.
We toured at Park Place, and I thought it was a very nice community. The apartments were lovely, and the staff was helpful. However, in this community, the memory care and the assisted living units are in separate buildings. I prefer a more integrated approach to care, so I didn't feel this community would be the best fit for us.

January 5, 2018Thanks for leaving a review, and for pointing out some of the features that make our community so lovely. We’re sorry to learn we weren’t the right fit for you, but want to point out that all care levels at Park Place of Elmhurst are, in fact, in the same building. Perhaps you have our community mistaken for another? Again, thank you for taking the time to leave a review! Please contact us if we can further clarify anything, or schedule a visit.
I toured this community and it was very nice and clean. It was a smaller community, we just weren't impressed. although the rooms were spacious. The residents were not interacting much and dad is a social guy. Just not the right fit.

November 1, 2017We’re disappointed to learn you left with a less than positive impression of our community. Our on-site health professionals are always here to oversee any care needs, and our team members of highly-qualified CNAs and nursing staff are trained to show the upmost compassion and care for each of our residents. We take your allegations very seriously and we would like to talk to you in person. Please call me, Don Engelsman, at your convenience.
This is a nice community, and my mother is doing well with her move here. She is safe, and receiving good care. I'am pleased with all they have done for us, and I would recommend this community.

January 13, 2017Thank you for taking the time to tour our community. We’re happy you had a great visit and hope to see you again!
I really like the size of the studio apartment my loved one was able to rent out and the overall floor plan of the community. Its very spacious and has lots of diversity with lots of natural light. She seems to be really liking the activities they provide here as well. They have taken her on a few field trips like to the zoo lights and other random outings that she has really enjoyed. Overall I am certainly pleased with how everything is going.

My mom was anxious like many residents when they first arrive, but the staff was welcoming from day one. Mom is happy and enjoys living in the community. She has met many new friends and is doing activities that she has not done in many years.

Very beautiful place. Extremely impressed with the staff and the culture for the employees. Conveniently located, well appointed throughout, wonderful amenities. Their memory care floor is absolutely wonderful and very beautiful and well designed. A definite contender for Assisted Living.

Totally agree with think twice. The administration does lie to your face or is always doing an investigation and never getting back to you regarding their errors. We have been there four months and they have missed dosed the medications at least 4 times that we are aware of. Dining services is poor at best. They do have a few CNA's that are great, but very few. Love your responses to these posts Cortney but perhaps you should take a closer look at what you are representing and selling to people.

The underhanded administration here will lie to your face. It makes me think the facility is having financial difficulties. Profit trumps the welfare of the elderly for these folks.

They've been very good overall here, we're very pleased with it. I'd give them top marks across the board. It's clean, the staff are friendly, and all of the services they provide are good.
