The Radcliff

What we like the most about The Radcliff community is the location and we would recommend them to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

We chose The Radcliff because of the friendliness of the staff and the fact that they immediately remember who you are and what your name is. The food is phenomenal there. Extremely clean. They keep them busy. A great value for the money.

The staff and management at the Radcliff are exceptional. From the moment we called to our initial visit, the experience of working with the Radcliff was rewarding. The details of the agreement were clear and the value was astounding. I must commend the group, A Place for Mom. They offered 3 excellent choices for review, and although all were a value, The Radcliff had so much to offer from warm hospitality to client security. I would strongly recommend both The Radcliff and A Place for Mom as an excellent retirement destination and resource.

There were a lot of activities. The food was good. The room was comfortable, nice amenities. Main areas were clean and well lit. Staff was very nice, helpful, caring. I will stay there again, if needed.

One of the main reasons we chose The Radcliff was because of their pricing structure. Staff is willing to work "outside the box" to provide care needed. I would highly recommend this facility.

All I can say is that the staff is wonderful at The Radcliff. Communication is the best key. I know every one of the staff members and they have all been exceptional. I have had a unique situation, and they have been so supportive. I usually go visit my mother once a week and have lunch with her. Their food is really good. My mom's move in process was awesome. They were very supportive and she seems very happy and well-adjusted there. The third-floor nurse [name removed] loves my mother and my mother loves her. Everyone there is so nice and so caring. Really caring. [Names removed] have been nothing but supportive. [Name removed], that works in the restaurant, is also so kind. Additionally,[name removed], the owner is a very very caring man. I would highly recommend The Radcliff to family and friends.

No staff!! There have been times when absolutely no CNA's are on the memory care floor. When families complain, they lie and say there are plenty of employees in the building. Numerous times there have been 1 or 2 caregivers overnight in the entire building. There are also times when there is no nurse in the building. No one to check on your loved one at night. What happens when there's an emergency? When the State inspects the facility, they falsify schedules to make it look like they are adequately staffed. Very, very unsafe environment.

The family loves the community for our loved ones. I would recommend the community to others to check out for their loved ones. They are a little short staffed here. The owner is wonderful to work with. The food is great! There are three meals a day and choices for the residents to choose from. Some of the activities available include live entertainment, happy hour, crafts, and more for the residents to participate in.

We chose The Radcliff because of the cleanliness of the facility as well as the location. At the time they did have a good deal going on as well. The room sizes are on the smaller side. The food is really good, they are chef prepared meals. They are very accommodating, if mom does not want to go down to eat they can bring it to her which is a plus. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose The Radcliff because it just seemed like it was going to be the best fit and it was the least expensive. The room sizes here are wonderful, very spacious. The staff really seem to care about their residents. I would recommend to others looking.

We are very happy with this community so far. The owner is extremely helpful and so is the staff. They are very accommodating and the food is amazing and my loved one loves the food. Communication is very good, they keep us very informed and up to date. They are so easy to get ahold of and are just amazing. The community is very clean and neat and they have several different levels of care. When we moved they provide the movers and they pack up you're loved one's belongings if needed. I would recommend the community to others based on my experience.

The food was excellent the few times I was able to eat at the community with my loved one. This is definitely a place you should look at for your loved one. The community was the best that we saw out of all the communities we visited. We were impressed with the community and what they had to offer.

This is so different than what we expected to find for my mom to move into. Bright, sunny, clean, beautiful, are just a few words to describe this home. The staff is so friendly, happy and helpful. Our bringing her in as Covid hit for the second time has been a problem, but only because we can't visit, (which we totally understand), and the amenities are shut down for now. When that opens back up, we are sure she will love the dining room, outdoor patio and the very nice bar area! Daily activities too. The food choices are great too. Just a beautiful and great experience for my family so far. Mom is looking so good too! I also have to mention that A Place for Mom helped us find out info about places to check out for my mom. They were a great help with what to look for and what we needed most.

They exceed all expectations here at The Radcliff. We chose this facility because it was beautiful, clean, and it was independently owned so they lock in your rates forever. She is in a studio apartment and it is just fine for her needs. I have eaten here and the food is very good, they are chef prepared meals so the quality is good. My mother in law loves it here and we would absolutely recommend it.

I would recommend this community for your loved one. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about memory care, and they had a lot of experience behind them. A lot of the staff took the initiative to handle situations. Anytime there was an issue, the staff would call me and let me know.

At first, we thought that this place was fantastic for my Auntie. After 2 months, 3 falls, and 2 hospital visits, I started to think differently. The last fall put her into an assisted living facility with a broken shoulder. We had paid 3 months in advance at the time. When they determined that she couldn’t go back, I moved out her things and requested a refund for the remainder of the third month. This fell on deaf ears. I didn’t even get a call back! My repeated requests and calls have been ignored.
