My dad is doing great, it was a little adjustment at first but going good now. We love the facility. It is bright and airy and there is more for them to do. They were my favorite when touring. I like that they can go outside and walk in the garden when he wants. They also have a mini golf course and he loves golf. The staff answer any calls and texts. He is starting to get involved with the activities and they sent us some picture of him being involved. He is eating all of the meals and it looks good and pretty healthy.
The staff at Avalon was wonderful especially [Name removed],[Name removed] and [Name removed]. They made [Name removed] last 3 months as pleasant as possible. They were also there for me. The food was excellent. That was [Name removed]'s comment. They had someone feed him when he could no longer hold his fork I would and have reccommened Avalon to friends looking for a place for a loved one.
Transitioning your parents to an assisted living facility is one of the most difficult decisions of your life, but the staff at Sage Oak in Denton have been amazing and positive in making the move to assisted living. Our family can’t say enough great things about the facility and staff.
