We would rate the overall experience we had the first 6 months a 4, but then down to a 2 by the time we had left. There was constant turnover with the staffing. The last 6 months my husband would not go down for any meals and the swimming pool was closed most of the time we were there. July 9, 2024We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about your experience. We strive to provide a consistent and enjoyable stay for all our guests. Your comments have been noted and will be addressed with our team to ensure improvements are made moving forward. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Husband & I moved from out of state. The caring community here - staff & residents - welcomed us. People readily helped at every step of the settling in. After a little adjustment, our daily lives were enriched by the social opportunities; variety of activities (games, art, exercise) plus outings to church & museums; delicious assortment of foods at meals. The setting gifted us with a new life of enjoyment in spite of health concerns.

August 3, 2023Dear Judith, Thank you for the 5-star review and great feedback! We are truly thrilled to hear how much you and your husband are enjoying yourselves at our community. So happy that you’re pleased with all that we have to offer and that you can call this your new home.
Moved my mom in to Parkview from her “regular” apartment in Frisco. She was living alone in a community where most residents worked during the day. She was isolated and largely alone. Unable to drive much, she was limited on going out and doing anything social. She was depressed and we feared her mental state and physical state were deteriorating. Plus she wasn’t cooking much and forgetting to eat. She’s 82. We thoroughly vetted Parkview and concluded this was the perfect fit for her. We were right. After only 6 short months, she has a solid group of friends to do things with, they eat dinner together in the dining room each evening, Parkview provides transportation to go to the Symphony which she loves, she is making center pieces for the dining room and participating in craft activities right there on site. She’s looking forward to the pool opening, and gardening. She is happier than I have seen her in a long time. Parkview was exactly what the Dr ordered. Highly recommended.

August 3, 2023Dear Alesia, Thank you for the five-star review and meaningful feedback. We are so thrilled to hear that your mother is thriving with us and has made great friends and enjoys our arts and crafts, activities, services, and dining.
In general, my mother is very comfortable and happy at this community. Everyone, staff and residents included, are very friendly. She really love the residents that live there. The housekeeping could be a little better. It seems like they only do surface cleaning. The food is fine. When meals are served in the dining room they offer a good variety.

Visited again this week. When we looked last year it was near the top of the list & Mom got to see it this week. She like the 1 bedroom apartment & the size of the property & met a few of the residents in the dining room. It’s still on the short list.

All my contact was over the phone with [name removed]. I felt she was put off by my questions regarding the diversity of the residents in my effort to assure my loved one felt comfortable and relatable in her new environment that would be her new home. [name removed] was not pleasant over the phone and getting her to tell me about the place was like pulling teeth one at a time. She just didn't freely share with any enthusiasm and I knew because of her demeanor this wasn't the place for me to trust the care of my beloved mother. I was caring and appropriate with her however she emailed Mr. [name removed] who was helping me with my search and recommended I not place my mother there...which I didn't. I feared she would not be happy at Parkview and ultimately found a inviting staff and match for her instead at Mustang Creek Estates and Memory Care in Frisco where I'm confident she will be happy and treated well. I respectfully recommend [name removed] work on her people skills.

Visited again this week. When we looked last year it was near the top of the list but not sure now it’s the right fit. No apartments available either.

March 8, 2019Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I would love to discuss your concerns in more detail. You may reach me at [removed]. Sincerely, David Gustafson, Executive Director Posted on behalf of David Gustafson
I was welcomed by a group of five women on my very first day. We dine together each evening and have become caring friends. Through them I have met many other residents. There are so many activities it is sometimes hard to choose which to attend. The staff is very visible and friendly. Always checking to see how I'm settling in. Parkview is the perfect place for me. My apartment is very comfortable with plenty of storage space. But, the best part is that it is ten minutes from my family.

Somber, quiet environment. It doesn't have an upbeat or cheery tone. For me, the lack of a view or walking areas underscores the bleak atmosphere. This facility wouldn't be a fit for my parent; however, it appears to deliver quality care and ratings are high.

Here you have some options. You can opt out of meals. They offer us a dinner and it was good. Nice staff. We saw three different floor plans.

I did visit park view but decide I wasn’t quiet ready, felt to much like a nursing home. On a positive note I thought everyone was super friendly, food was good and residents seemed happy. If I was ready for this type of living the only thing that would keep me away from parkview were the apartments themselves, they looked outdated and depressing. I would have to spend to much money to updated and cheer up the looks of the apartment

November 15, 2017Thank you for visiting and sharing your valued feedback. We take great pride in our community and you may have noticed we’re undergoing renovations with new paint, carpet, fixtures and furniture. In individual residences, we leave the colors and finishes choices to new residents. Upgrade options include colorful accent walls, different appliances and other finishes so they have that welcoming, personal touch. I’d love to join you for lunch and to discuss further. Sincerely, David Gustafson, Executive Director Posted on behalf of David Gustafson.
I toured this community and it was nice but just wasn't for mom. We just didn't get a good vibe there. We had to go with another community.

October 12, 2017Thanks for visiting our community. If it would be possible to give me a call at [removed] I would love to learn what we could do differently to make your mom and family happy with choosing Parkview in Frisco. We are focused on constant improvement and your insights would be very helpful. Sincerely, David Gustafson, Executive Director Posted on behalf of David Gustafson.
I moved my mom from Beaumont to Parkview in Frisco on July 30th. I had resisted moving her to Frisco because she had been in Beaumont all of her 87 years and had many friends. Parkview has been very good for her. Everyone is exceptional friendly...staff and residents. Her apartment is bigger, nicer and over a thousand dollars a month less than in Beaumont! She participates in many of the activities and seems very happy. The food is very good...much better than what she had in Beaumont. Over all, Parkview was a very good move for my mother...and me.

She is doing very well at Parkview in Frisco. We are so blessed to have found Parkview with the help of A Place For Mom. This is the second place APFM helped us to find for mom. She was in independent living and now we have transitioned to Parkview. It is a beautiful place that is conveniently located close to our home. It is warm and inviting, and everyone there is like family. Absolutely easy to talk to the nursing staff and management with anything that we needed from day one. Very generous with letting us move her furniture in so that we could move her directly in from rehab. The food is delicious, the chef is so sweet. He comes and greets us and talks to us. He even made a special dessert for mom on her first night for the three of us, that was just an example of how they take care of you and your family. They keep us in the loop on events. We recently were invited to Grandparents Day and asked for a head count for the meals and activities. This community has an assisted living area and also a memory care facility, the transition will be so less traumatizing if the need ever arises. The same people will be around that already know her. I feel she will be happy there if it comes to that. They all dine together in a beautiful dining room. Every meal I've ever had there I have been impressed. As soon as I walked in and felt the love and the warmth I knew this was going to be her next permanent home. I would absolutely recommend this community to friends and family.

We toured this community for the care of my father. I like the staff who were friendly and caring and answered the questions that we had. The environment was nice and the community appeared to be clean. We like the list of activities that would have been available. The menu seemed appealing. We would recommend other families to tour this community.

The staff are great with encouraging my mother in law to participate in some of the daily activities. She is not impressed with all of the food options as she says the proteins are all over cooked. They do have good soup, salads and desserts. The community is well taken care of and the grounds are well maintained. We liked the friendliness of the staff and the condition of the rooms. I would recommend this community.
