These include: skills for working with residents, families, and other professionall providers ethics, resident and provider rights and responsibilities, community resources, and assisted living standards. This type of community is required to offer a number of services. These include activity and/or social program for residents, assistance with activities of daily living, supervision or direct administration of medications, and personal care. The maximum occupancy is 4 residents per room. There must be one bath or shower for every 10 residents and one toilet for every 1 residents. This community type has a number of provisions pertaining to medication assistance. These provisions include supervision of a resident’s medication regimen, residents may self-administer their own medication, and listing the medication taken on a resident’s medication profile record.
