Affectionate Care Assisted Living and Memory Care

We moved our mom here 15 months ago from a fancy large corporate program just down the road after realizing their memory care unit was too stark of a transition from their assisted living unit for our mom’s needs /comfort. Affectionate Care provides the feel of homey assisted living but uses unique technology with low patient staff ratio to keep residents SAFE and SECURE. Since the move we have never had to worry mom would be found in a stairwell or outside in parking lot. Dedicated professional caring staff in every department. The owner/ pharmacist is a beautiful soul and is on-site weekly interacting with residents who she genuinely cares for. Activities director is incredible!

I absolutely love this place, it has amazing staff and tons of activities. My grandmother and grandfather are doing great here and they love it. They have been to other places, but this is the place they call home

I had been hearing great things about Affectionate Care, so my family had to come check it out. It's a beautiful and very welcoming community whose staff all seemed to really care about their residents. It was very spacious, clean, and very interactive with lots of hands on activities and social events. I very much enjoyed our tour; it was very thourough and I felt instant comfort that my family would be taken care of.

[name removed] has impeccable customer service and is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to this facility. She was so helpful in answering all my questions… and I had a ton! She made the entire process so easy.

The staff at Affectionate Care is amazing! The owner is also a Pharmacist and is on top of medications. The Executive Director is always available too. Clean, fresh, and mom loves the food and activities!

My grandmother was digressing at her previous home and I needed to find a place that would challenge her rather than put her in front of a TV all day. I want my grandmother involved in activities and having conversations with people. I had a friend tell me about a place near her house and somewhat near mine. I came in for a tour and loved how big and bright everything was. Natural light is my favorite (I am a photographer) and my grandmother has bougie taste too, this hit the mark for both of us. I actually toured three times and walked in UN-annouced for two of those tours because I wanted to "catch" them not expecting me (just in case the activities were for show). Each time I showed up the residents were engaged in an activity which made me happy to see. I also loved that the staff to resident ratio is super low. My grandmother currently lives in a community that the ratios are "what state recommends" which is not my favorite response when I am considering care for my grandmother.

Very nice and welcoming as soon as you come in to contact with any employees. Very clean and very loving place. I’m very impressed with how they interacted with everyone.

I cannot fully express what a blessing you guys are to us. You embrace all the things that make Mom the special person she is. In many ways I think she feels more useful and valued than she has in many years. I know she knows how much we love her, but I believe she feels NEEDED in your community ... this is huge

I love the place it amazing

My mom has been in assisted living for almost 4 years. Moving someone with Alzheimer’s is a gut-wrenching decision. We’re glad we did. The team there works hard for their residents and are responsive to the families.

We moved Mom in on [date removed]. She recently turned 88 and was really struggling with anxiety and depression, constant health issues and generally wanted to die. From move-in day through today Mom has been in a steady U-turn. She is engaged. She dances everyday and enjoys fitness class and a wealth of age appropriate activities - this is especially exceptional as Mom is mostly blind. Yesterday, with great pride, she told me they had family night - because they were all family. She had a small stomach bug this week (her first illness since being there) and they cared for her like a mother cares for her child. The love, personal investment and community system Affectionate Care has built is amazing, inspiring and at least for us - nothing short of a Godsend. Thank you all for caring for Mom as if she were your own mother!

Just opened when I toured, only 2 residents. Seemed to me to me memory care specific. I know my mom would not like the shared rooms and no pets (cats). The staff were all nice and friendly. The grounds and building were clean & maintained. As i stated it is a brand new facility. I will recommend to others it just does not meet our needs at this time.

After visiting the facility, realized this place would be a wonderful place for elderly to receive great care. I was very impressedwith the Very professional, kind, and respectful. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful facility! Owners & staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I twill be a great place for aging seniors.
