That was okay, but not nearly as good as Sunrise. It was more rehab after my mother in law had been in the hospital. It wasn't bad but it didn't have the same homey feeling, it seemed more like a hospital.
My brother [name removed] was only at Brookdale for two weeks. He passed away last May. The two weeks at Brookdale were wonderful. They were amazing. It will be my choice for me when the time comes. They took care of my brother at nursing home level when he was there for assisted living. They cared for him so well! We were very grateful to the staff!
My loved one was previously a resident at Sunrise of Grosse Pointe Woods and everything was great for her at this facility! The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The staff, care services, food and activities were great. The value for cost was also great, in comparison to other facilities. Overall, it was a great experience. I would highly recommend Sunrise of Grosse Pointe Woods to others.

A nursing home is an establishment that houses two or more seniors who are not related by blood or by marriage to the administrator. A nursing home community provides its occupants with care administered by on-site nurses. These caregivers offer specialized care for those who are unable to adequately care for their own needs.

Types of amenities and servicesprovided at nursing homes can include monitoring serious illness and unstable health status, meal programs, social and recreational activities, and personal care (including dressing, bathing, and toilet assistance).
